Hi, I'm new to this thread. I just got my Amelia a few days ago. I was wondering the same thing. Your Amelia's coat is wonderful! A darling picture.

There will be another upsurge when Tonner/Wilde Imagination puts out another dressed doll and/or gift set. I don't see the ones on eBay selling well. They are overpriced. But the new ones will stimulate interest again.

Tonner often puts out dolls in the early part of the year and in the fall. If he goes the way of Betsy McCall there will be dolls for springtine, Easter, vacation, school, Halloween and Christmas and anything he can think of in between.

maisiedoats: That's so funny! I'm sure everyone has just been super busy. I know I have been. I've been wanting to take some new pics of my Amelia for a couple of weeks now, but never seemed to get around to it--just too much going on. Maybe I can do that this week. I do love the pic of your Amelia. She looks so cute in her new sweater. Your knitting amazes me! I've been learning to knit over the Christmas holidays. It's coming along--slowly but surely! Any hints for a newbie would be greatly appreciated. Your tiny knitting is truly an art!

Merci: Glad to hear from you! I hope you are right. I am looking forward to seeing some new Amelia products--mainly wigs and clothes. They did put out a travel case recently. It's pretty cute. I'm looking forward to seeing some more new things, though.

I just love my Amelias. I display them where I can see them every day and they make me feel good. There is just enough difference in their face paint so they are not identical and I'm happy with that.

I'm really looking forward to a new Amelia and have emailed Wilde Imagination to find out if we will be seeing new dolls and outfits at the IDEX Premiere doll show on January 26 to 29, 2012. I hope Amelia will get to have a friend (new face, same body so they can share clothes).

Many times people on other boards will post their own photos of the IDEX dolls and some doll websites will post some too. When the time comes I'll post links to these photos so we can enjoy them.

I can also post pictures of what there is of Amelia from IDEX. DD and I are going and will also be at the Ellowyne Tea, although I doubt they will mention her there. We are going on Saturday and there are usually pictures from vendors posted on Thursday or Friday, but I've found that multiple pictures tend to tell the story better for us.

I've been too busy to play with Amelia. She is in her sewing box with my Tyni. I usually bring a doll to IDEX with me and Amelia would be perfect, but not this year. My daughter is bring her SD and I've found it is easier to navigate without a doll. Hopefully we'll have time for Amelia soon, but with ballet auditions coming up, it looks like I won't get to her until March. I love looking at everyone's pictures, though

So we ALL have to stayed tuned to see what he will be creating for Spring…at IDEX the end of January, we will be snapping pics and posting to our FB page, hopefully you can join us, also there is a really fun WE LOVE Amelia Thimble Yahoo Group we’ve been told about too, might be fun for you!
Any way, they won’t let us say what will be coming, but many fun, amazing things are in store for Amelia…so stay tuned!! I think you will be really pleased and delighted with the offerings for Spring 2012!

Meanwhile I've been getting ready to make a little diorama for my Amelias. It is so much fun to buy those tiny furniture pieces but I think I have to be careful with the size. Just because it is a 1:12 scale miniature does not mean that it is right for her. I think it is all in how it looks to the eye. I guess I wont be able to see until I take a pic.

I checked the Wilde Imagination site this morning. Basic Amelia is on back order. So is the Cute as a Button Collection which includes Basic, Cute as a Button, Sweet Treats outfits, Sew Enchanting, Sprinkled with Love and Rags sets.

Both items are back ordered and estimated to be shipping in mid January but the site does not say when they will actually arrive in the US. Wow! I had no idea of Amelia's popularity. But again, who can resist such a cutie?

I wonder if that means that whatever we see at IDEX will not be available until late next year?

Hello, I just got my little Amelia about a week ago. I adore this little doll! Her name is Emily. I am hoping for some wonderful new things at WI in the next few months. I am thinking she should have a sister. I have plans for making her a room box/sewing box some day as time permits. She is such a fun size! Emily would like to say "hello" to all of you:
