Here are some DOLL-COORDINATE-RECIPE books with Petite Blythe patterns. There are more. These prices seem very high to me. Both books have a small but nice selection. There are shorts, hoodies,
dresses, undies, and hats. Thanks to everyone for the measurements. (((hugs)))

Cute new post on the Hittyville Gazette blog. Her gift set Amelia is getting her cousin Bettina Button, the Basic Amelia, to come to Hittyville!

Unexpected bills came in so no ordering from WI right now. I hope nothing sells out too quickly. So, instead, I dressed Amelia up in my PukiPuki Mary maid outfit (yeah! fits) and headed to the Dollar Store. Found her a horse that works perfectly and DD made me get her a bathroom set complete with toliet! I'll try to take pics, better ones, soon.

I'm so glad that everyone is so excited about Amelia. I heard talk on another doll board and they were really negative about her. It was really sad how someone can be so negative when they haven't even seen her in person. Glad to come here and she is so loved!

Please limit images to one per post in discussion threads.

Here's some Amelia spam....any pic requests? I might be able to take some today.

As for the tracking...don't worry too much ladies. Sometimes USPS tracking really doesn't work very well. It will say 'info received' and before you know it your package arrives and then the system updates with a little bit of info and 'delivered'. It really depends.

She is my only BJD...someone else might be better able to help you if that is what you are after. I have a J Doll (Pullip body), Barbie, Polly Pocket, Sylvanian Families and TY Lil ones. Pics of her w/ Ty Lil ones, Sylvanian Families and Polly Pocket are in my Flickr.
I thought Wilkies had some, but now I can't find them.
Here are a few I found online I haven't linked to before:

Hi everyone, I hope by tomorrow we all have our Amelias! My "basic" spent the weekend in a truck I'm sure because it sure as heck isn't taking two days for her to travel 30 miles and the tracking says she is on her way. lol! hugs, annie

Gracie I don't think you have to worry about WI selling out too quickly. The Basic is not limited and the Cute as a Button is LE 300. I've bought many a Tonner/WI doll that was LE 200 and was still available months later.

I think I've read the same board. It is sad that people criticise something without knowing about it. I'm glad we are all happy about our darling Amelia.

I think she is adorable. I just cant wait until she crosses the seas to get here. I am very excited to meet her . No idea why people waste words being negative. It is a big enough hobby for everyone to live with whom they choose . If you dont like , dont buy

acexkeikai, I wondered the exact same thing about names! I don't know what I'm going to do. All my other BJDs I've given other names, not the ones they come with, but Amelia Thimble just seems to suit her! But then I can't really have 2 Amelia's if I ever do get a different Amelia Thimble. I'm interested to hear what everyone else is doing/will do with names!

I can't wait to see everyone's pics. It's going to be an exciting week! I'm in South Africa, so I'm thinking mine will only arrive next week sometime. I won't complain if she arrives sooner though :-)

I as thinking of calling her Sakura but maybe I'll change my mind once I see her in person. Keri, I don;t think I'll see her before next week either since her tracking status didn;t change at all... but then again between USPS and Canada Post, both site don;t update very often so... she might be here before they even change the status.

I like Amelia and Bmelia. Very cute, lol. Mine will always be Amelia. I like the name. I like Sakura, too. It seems to fit her.

We didn't get to the Food & Wine Festival yesterday. DD wasn't feelings well. Hopefully this coming weekend.

Since it is finally under the mid-'90's here, we headed out into the beautiful 88F weather and took some pics.

Here is Amelia on her Dollar Store horse:

Here is a pic of her in the PukiPuki Mary outfit. She was laying in DD's lap so she isn't posed, but you can see it fits. I think anything other that a dress would be too big on her.

Just looked at the picture and it looks like the waist is too large. It does fit better than it looks. There is about 1/4 inch left on the sides, but it looks fine in person.

Hi, My basic arrived today and I got my gift set over the weekend!!! I wanted to make it a surprise but our weather was too wet for photos.

But if anyone is wondering about the face-up on the basic, I think it's very nice. I really was a little nervous after some of the Doll Reader pictures. The wig is a lot nicer than the photos. I also got the three outfits. They are very cute. It is such a challenging size that I cant fairly comment about the price. I do like having shoes!!!

My immediate thought was how easy these are to hide ... lol! hugs, annie
