I got my shipping notices too. It didn't say what day on the UPS tracking site. Next week, I think.

Congrats to those who have notices! After my experiences with Aidolls/CH, CCC and Dollshe, this is almost unbelievable.

Happy anniversary and congratulations annieaday. I wish I could have had that Convention set, the outfits are just awesome in it but I am going to be so happy with my little basic girl when she gets here. It is bizarre to get such instant gratification in the hobby but even still I am thrilled they are starting to ship.

Cyberspacegirl Petite Blythe and the Blythe from the Littlest Petshop are the same size, they are made in the same factory.

    Congrats to those who had a shipping notice:: hits mail reload and checks the Spam folder: No such luck for me. I guess they might do the internationnal orders tomorrow... I hope ;.;

Ok I caved and got the GL set, they are from a Sold Out Gothic Lotita mook. Here's my review on it.
They give you the scaned pages of the magazine plus the blown up version (if you had the original you had to blow up the print to 141% to get the right scale.) The pieces are labeled in english also which makes it easier to figure out what goes where. They give a ruler to make sure you print at the right size also. I am unsure if seam allowence is included. I would think not as most japanese patterns usually don;t include them. (I speak for the GL mooks not the dolls mook)

I do have a few of Dolly dolly and Dollybird mooks so I can tell you which is still availlable for purchase and which are sold out.

I think they might almost fit. They might be a hair too small. Then again, they might be perfect if they are a little flexible. It all depends on how close WI made the measurement. I'd sure set them aside to try on when she arrives. But I wouldn't get others of the same shoe until I knew.

I just want to mention that I posted earlier that there was a message on the Evangeline Yahoo group that said there would be a special Amelia Thimble doll for the Tonner Halloween Convention, October 29-30 at the Sheraton in Burlington Vermont.

I wasn't able to verify this independently but if anyone comes up with more information, please post. I don't think I can afford another doll so soon but others might be interested. IDEX is in January, I think, and it will nice to see those new dolls and outfits.

    Congratulations everyone!
cyberspace girl- I think those shoes may be too small. I will try to post a pic of her feet w/ ruler...

I bought this pattern book and have since been trying to figure it out. The 11cm patterns are amazingly tiny and a bit intimidating. Looks like they will fit perfectly though.

merci, yes, IDEX is the last weekend in January. DD and I usually go and we attend the Ellowyne Ice Cream Social. Tonner usually has an event on Sunday morning, but it is for the 16" fashion dolls. The Ellowyne event is WI (basically Tonner), but it is usually exclusively for Ellowyne.

I asked Michele and she wasn't certain what doll was going to be at the events, but even when Evangeline has been there, it is only in the booth. Usually we get to see everything that is out and coming out for the first quarter of the year. We can get on the order list for anything coming out, but there are no discounts that are given for ordering things at IDEX. I think everyone should try to attend IDEX at least once, but there aren't a lot of BJD things there. Still, it is fun.

The convention sounds cool. Hopefully they will have some extras that will be for sale. That is one thing I love about WI. There was only one IDEX where they had a lot of extra Ellowyne event dolls and they let buyers purchase as many as they wanted. After seeing the majority go to ebay for a lot more than the original cost, they started taking the extras and offering it to those who couldn't attend, instead of letting the ebay resellers get them.

acexkeikai thanks for the review. Sounds like a good investment. I really like the possibilities from the photos. Thanks also for the warning about the seam allowances. A list would be great for the Dolly Dolly. I did some looking around and found something about books 1 and 4 have Petite Blythe, but 2,3 and 5 don't. I few years back I saw them all on ebay, but don't seem to see them now. Do you know of a place online that sells them?

I posted measurements of Amelia in the size chart sticky thread.

Her foot measures 1.4 cm (which is the same as what Joe said. I figured he created the doll so he should know, right?). Her actual shoes measure 1.7 cm. Concerting it to inches, they become 0.7 inches.

cyberspacegirl, comparing it to my tape measure, I think the shoes might be a little too small.

For wigs, I've had great luck getting size 3-4 at Kemper. I got a bunch for my Elfdoll tinies there and the quality was great and the shipped fast.

I forgot to say "congrats" to you too, Keri! I was debating about splurging for the set of 3 dresses. Would you please post pictures when you get them?

Hi, Sometimes the japanese craft book sellers on ebay offer to look for "wants" They have access to used copies that are near new. I have some of the back issues and will look over the weekend. thanks for the tip. I think I have more Dollybird.
My tracking from WI says in transit, 1 business day... sounds good! Also tracking sounds hopeful on the gift set. This is the most I have spent on dolls in a very long time.

I'm not good at wigs on tinys. If I hadn't bought the set I would have spent the extra dollars in futility. I know ya get my drift...

okay I have #1 'doll coordinate recipe' (doll basic patterns?) the cover has torn jeans. There is a nice selection for petite Blythe. This series may be up to 13 now. they vary in what dolls are covered. there is new one, mentioned here. bought on Etsy. hugs

Hey, does anyone know what happened to SungarMag? I bought a lot of their things a year or two ago for Blythe-size for my large Moona and I just remembered they made stuff for Petite Blythe. I went to their website, but it no longer exists. They used to have some great things for really, really good prices.

I was at both events last januari. It was a long travel from the NL, but totally worth it. I think we may have met.

That kinda surprises me because of the huge price difference between the two.

I took some preliminary measurements, sorry the pics aren't better- I had to use a cell and low light...but you get the picture. i just realized my hands look horrible bc I have been grinding glass and scrubbing glass molds all week LOL. Hope I don't get in trouble for posting too many! There are a few more on Flickr & she is a little taller with her wig. Now I see that not all of the measurements are spot on. I will have to redo them in better conditions. Hope these are helpful. You will notice that her foot is wide at the toes and the heel has a curve to it that isn't always lined up perfectly in these shots. I am not crazy about her stock shoes... I think I may have to try to make some.

It's great to see her measurements like that, Rose414! Even though I have her, I never got around to doing that.

Thank you for going through the effort to post all the measurements acexkeikai . That is very helpful. Now I can check it compared to the measurements I took and posted in the stickie post.

I was looking at Little Pullip last night and thought she might work as well. There is one with a gorgeous dress for $35 (dress & doll), but it is still less than the purple dress set offered by WI. Nice to see it might work.

I found the cutest overall set on etsy with a Mickey pattern for Lati Yellow and was hoping it would work, but looking at the measurements in the chart, it looks like Amelia would swim in Lati Yellow things.

Thanks! That would be great. I hope you get a shipping notice soon from them. There are times I have ordered from WI and never got a shipping notice so many she was sent out anyway and you'll get a nice surprise next week.

cyberspacegirl we didn't get to go last year because my DD had a ballet audition in Miami that weekend. We decided that regardless of the audition, etc., we're going this year. We missed it too much! Are you able to go this coming January? It would be wonderful to meet you.
