    Dollstown Discussion part 2

    Ok, starting a new thread.

Anyone else wondering if the Dollshe sales have pushed back the 18 Bodies release by quite a few months? It is unusual for a company to show preview sculpts then nothing for months. I'm hoping that Dollshe get moving on their sales and we see the 18 Bodies released. I'm tempted to get my Hue that body.

Agreeing with you there Hobbysue.....and not only the 18 bodies! All of the Dollstown crew have been pushed back!!! It's like back in the 'old days' at Dollstown ATM!
Dollstown have grown in popularity over this past year, and I'm guessing they will keep growing, we will all have to become more patient!!! I must say, the dolls are worth the wait in the long run

Dolllstown has always been kind of on the slow side with how they work though, right? I think when the 15 bodies were first previewed it also took a long time for them to be finally released. And at least Dollstown is very worth the wait.

And thanks everyone for the nice comments about Clean Slate! I can't believe I've almost had her for three years...

Wow~ Candygears, time flies!!! I remember when you first got Clean Slate and you posted wonderful photos of her in the woods, I have loved watching her evolve over the years, just look at her now I wait in anticipation for her next photo shoot
There are not many Dollstown Yeondu's on here! I must get my poor gal out and play with her (one of these days)

Dollstown are wonderful, and I don't mind waiting for them either! Both AnJongHak and Torre are the finest doll sculptors ever
    I do love Dollstown

    My Yeondu as Twiggy!

I think they're wanting to discontinue the DT15 boy body before they release the new bodies, and due to the Dollshe issues they're most certainly holding off on anything that may cause a large influx of orders they can't handle.

I'm happy to wait. I trust Dollstown to send the body eventually. I just hope it arrives by next month. Dollshe are so far behind, it's scary. I think they've only just shipped out the orders from last July. They were meant to be finished shipping by the end of April so they're 2 months behind on their own orders already.

Its Clean Slate's 3rd birthday. She was my first doll ever, and I think is still my favorite. (Well, I do adore Mr. Have equally, but I have less fun outfits to dress him up in, so that creates a bias, he he.) Dollstown girls are just the most amazing ever - every time I take her picture she gives me something new & different.

First let me say Happy Birthday Clean Slate! That is one of the most beautiful photos of her, she is such a dream and so lovely.

I am in total agreement that AnjongHak and Torre are the finest sculptors, so unique and like no other. Dollstown Seola was my first BJD and I have been in love with DT ever since. They have always been a pleasure to work with, and if I were waiting for a new doll from them, I know my wait time would be well worth it when I opened the box to find the quality resin beauty inside.

Twiggy is very very cute. Great dress and the fur rug is just perfect. Different and wonderfully creative looks for one sculpt.

Dollstown 15 yrs girls body - who wants a new release?

I ask myself if there are some others here on DoA that who would be happy about a new release of the 15 yrs girls body from Dollstown??? I love this body scuplt and I think I would prefer it although Dollstown wants to release an 18 yrs girls body. I like the 15 yrs body sculpt more!

Maybe they need more notes of others that are interested in a re-release! I already wrote some notes on the Dolltown web site concerning this matter.

    What do you think?????

Xen - I LOVE that photo! You've got the Twiggy look down perfectly.

I hope Clean Slate has had a lovely birthday She is so beautiful and such a well-developed character, I swear sometimes in your photos that she is alive!

I prefer the look of the 15 Dollstown bodies, but at this stage, I doubt if Dollstown are making any plans regarding the dolls due to Dollshes backlog.

Thank you for your lovely comments treehugger1961, theresa 226 and almaxaquotal! Dollstown girls are just so great, I think they just get better and better the longer you have them

NeedleRosi - I don't think DT will continue selling the 15 girl body, since they said they plan to discontinue it. So far when they've discontinued a sculpt, its been pretty final. I think there might be one more order period though before they discontinue it, so you might just want to keep an eye on the site as they work their way through the Dollshe backlog.

Happy Birthday Clean Slate. It's also my Shigure's 3rd birthday. He arrived in early August and was finished in Sept. He is a DT Hue. I will soon have 9 DT kids. Love DT so much.

Happy Birthday Clean Slate She is looking wonderful as always

I never got around to getting a 15 DT Body .... I only have the 13 size for the bigger gals. The 18 is looking amazing, I could be tempted to get one

    Cheers!

The order they did of 15 girl bodies at a discount in March was the final order for them. They're now discontinued to the point where the page is no longer on their site. I don't think they'll be rereleasing them again.

I think the 13 Body has been a lot more popular. They seem to be focusing on the bodies that sell. I doubt if they'll bring the 15 body back unless perhaps you can get enough people to do a group order, but even then they may not.
