Doll Chateau - Adult Dolls

Hey everyone! I really havent been in here yet, i have a Doll Chateau Cyril in White Skin. I Wanna start out by how MUCH I love this company's dolls, and wanna eventually get a youth Verna eventually... but that's aside the point..

I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with some of the calf joints? the top of my Cyril's calf snapped off at the side, i am guessing when his leg got twisted (which tends to happen a lot with him since the penut joint on the inside is small and very round) Unfortunately i bought him second hand from a friend and this was probably my/accident so i cant get it replaced without repaying, but i was just wondering if anyone else has had the problem? I gave him a sort of makeshift splint for now until i can find the piece or pay for another calf.

Not sure if it's been touched on in this or other threads, but about what size of string does he take just in case I have to restring when his replacement gets here?

Sorry to hear about your Cyril's thigh, so far I have had no problems with mine, he is scary skinny and I am real careful with him because I am afraid I might break him. So he sits on my doll bench with the rest of my dolls when I don't handle him.

Anyway, I'll be getting a Cyril soon! I'm getting the blank one in stock at Mint on Card. But seeing as they won't ship overseas or take paypal, (a very wonderful) someone is getting him for me in the US and shipping him to me. So I will have him within three weeks!
There really isn't a lot of these tall fellows around are there? Sad :c

Yay congratz! He'll be huge My DC Olivia after I meassured her height, she's not 65cm... She's actually around 67cm Actually there are a lot more wonderfull pictures of DC adult at Flickr

I couldn't find a lot of Cyril pictures on Flickr though.
And yeah, he will be my tallest xD For years I have said I'd never get an SD. Then I got a Supia, which I thought was pretty darn tall, untill I recently got a Supergemn body with special parts. And Cyril is even taller than that xD Good thing he's skinny, or else I wouldn't be able to carry him :B

I think I love these two the most out of my dolls. Especially my Olivia, her sculpt will forever amaze me. And I'm not even being overdramatic. LOL!

Sorry to hear that MoC does not ship over seas anymore, but can't wait to see your Cyril Snow. I love mine very much, may re-do his faceup when I get some cleaning supplies.

Thanks for the sympathy Derilan I was a bit heartbroken when I finally found him in stock and then they wouldn';t ship him to me xD I posted on their facebook that it was a shame they didn't ship to me and that they lost a customer because of that. But they actually removed the message xD
But today he was shipped! So if customs doesn't get a hold of him, he should be here in 8 to 14 days xD So happy!

Her name is Pumpkin and I still haven't finish making her clothes yet due to my workload

Oh why did I have to stumble across you doll chataeu bodies! The Adult body is perfect for Astareal but I just don't think I could logistically get the heliot hooves to work with those beautifully spindly legs. Any opinions on how people think that could be made to work even with heavy heavy heavy modding?

I am waiting for a DC adult girl body and after a lot of thoughts I am going to try Ingemar head on it.

I also have just found an idea for a DC Cyril, but it will have to wait. Until then I was wondering about jointed hands, for the DC Adult boy owners, which jointed hands would you advise?

I love the bodies so I'm getting a DC Bella ;D MSD again, I sold all my MSD's, but I just love Bella, so yeah... another MSD :'D I think they're indeed more adult-ish, so it's nice to have a MSD that doesn't look 10.
