Well, Kien has arrived and he definitely doesn't match Volks normal skin. He is much more yellow than the SD17 body we put him on.

Just got a tracking number for the replacement Kien head. Might mean they'll have some extra new casts to sell?

Received my replacement Kien head....bad news he doesn't match the bodies he was ment for.
Good news he matches my Volks SDGr Date's body perfectly.

Gothland - he is so lovely! The coloring you chose really suits him.

Now that I have my replacement head I have to figure out what to do with him. I was going to see if he'd work for one of my characters but he isn't that guy. So he's open for interpretation which usually means it'll take me about a year to figure him out. He could be Magnus' accountant, he could be in Sean's band. Until I figure that out I have no idea how to paint him.

I've never seen this guy before. Wow! He's making me wonder if he could be the shell for a rather evil character I've had in my head for a long time. Serene look, but with the psychotic side just under the surface...

I wonder if I can get him a body that'll fit the low to mid 60cm range...*goes off to do research* :P

Now would be a good time to get a Kien if you want him on a shorter body, since he looks really great on a Granado and DollClans is selling a few of the original more yellow-toned heads. I'm assuming they are the heads we returned and that's why there are only a few available. It's not a color that can reproduce again since it was a mistake, but apparently it's a good match to one of the Granado colors. Not something I'd normally commit to without seeing it in person but I trust Gothland's eye and her boy is gorgeous!

I'm definitely ready to order this gorgeous head but am a bit confused over which resin color to get. . . I'm planning on putting him on the Spiritdoll v2 body, so that would be the "new" Kien head, instead of the older yellower one? TIA for any advice. . .

I received my Kien head last week. He's absolutely gorgeous, a dream to paint, and a perfect match for a Spiritdoll Proud V2 body. His headcap fits extremely well; he could be bald. Exactly two months from order to delivery, a great order board, and just a great experience overall.
