This thread has been crazy helpful. I know that I'm going with a Spiritdoll Proud body for my Vezeto, but I'm rather torn about Kien.

My Kien was made in August 2011, and my Vezeto this year, however, their resin seems to match nicely despite the worries I had about the older Kien being a touch more yellow than his counterpart. Due to the heights I need for the characters, however, Kien needs to be shorter. Thus I was thinking about the Granado 68cm body.

So, to clarify, which Granado resin color matches best with Dollclans? Is it their normal skintone?

Okay, I swear someone asked for Vezeto on DollsTown... so I tried mine on DT18 oriental. The DC resin itself is definitely lighter, but with a faceup and the blushing therein (and at night indoors with artificial light)... it looks good!

Sorry, I had a guitar and shades come in the mail today, and I thought it only fair that the naked man get to play with them first...
I'll have to take some real photos in daylight later on.

Nope,as of what I know DollClans's resin no longer match with Granado's.
The first batch was so called supposed to be Volks matching but it turned out much more yellowish ,which matches the Granado resin perfectly at that time,but the tone changed,after DollClans offered a call back exchange for their first batch dolls.It's now so much paler compared to Granado's. And DollClans offers only normal tone at the moment,so I don't think there will be a matching tone with any of Granado's.

Can anyone show me how a Vezeto head would look on a Dragondoll uncle body (version 3 or later if possible)

I have a WS Dragondoll Uncle body. I'm not entirely sure which version it is, simply because I bought the doll secondhand from a local and they couldn't tell me offhand. I think it's one of the earlier versions (1 or 2), from what I can tell from the differents in the sculpt/joints. So I apologize. The body isn't actually a bad fit, though the head is a little cranky motion-wise.

Vezeto's head is actually pinker than the WS resin, which gives me cause to believe their normal pink resin might not be horrible. Though it photographs together nicely, as you can see, at least with standard indoor lighting.

Thank you! That is a good combi - 'affordable' and it looks good. I was affraid that the neck/body/head proportions would not work. You have helped me making the descision - a pink skin version 3 dragondoll body it will be for my Vezeto.

The neck of version 3 might be different - and otherwise a little bit of modding should do the trick

They're actually too wide for his head, but with the floofy fur wig, they look okay.

rhapsodies - Oooo, rockin' Kien there! Mmmmmmyeah!

Farlest - Amazing blue eyes your guy is sporting there! They really glow in that first shot.

Aernath - Thank you! They're actually a pale blue pair from Alice's Collections.

Cyador - Glad I could help! I hadn't tried my Vezeto on that body because of the resin match, but now I'm rather tempted to get a Dragondoll body for him as well. I've never once had a problem with that body, and they're actually rather beautiful and detailed ( when properly strung, they stand like a rock ).

Kaenyn, my Dragondoll Emperor Huang, is now cranky because I'm coddling Vergil, my Vezeto now that he's using the body, and I am delaying putting heads back on rightful bodies. Whoops.

Thank you so much aernath I'm actually someone ask Vezeto on Dollstown. He's looking great! as you mention DC is paler but I think it easily hide by a little brushing. XD
May I ask about the proportion and neck motion?

Kiradyn_rhiode-Yup,Granado no longer matches with DollClans. Granado's rep said they haven't change their tone yet,so it's still the same yellow shade.
Spiritdoll and Popodoll might be a closer match,Spiritdoll is the body they used in most of their photos .

I think I will go after the Popodoll body for my Kien, actually. It's a veeeeery nice body (a friend of mine has a WS one), and it's got the lean look I want for that character.

I have done it - I have ordered my not yet here Vezeto head a Dragondoll pink skin uncle body 3rd generation

- it has weird knees, but I'll have him dressed in pants mostly anyway.

Proportion is good and mobility is great, but there is quite a gap at the back of the head to the neck. A wig covers or blurs that easily though. I have to admit, I'm thinking about keeping him on that body, but I really like him on the taller Mecha Angel body a tiny bit more. I just wish it were filled out like the DollsTown one. *hubbahubba* (Although the knees on that DT body are driving me crazy! Rar!)

I haven't really seen one myself but I guess they will match,if Switch's tone is still close to Volks match?

Okay I have no idea what I am doing here. I will try to insert an image of resin comparisons to Kein and Vezeto. Never uploaded a photo before. Uploading from Flickr. First try nope. No go again so here is the link.
It's Kein and Vezeto with Angelsdoll Volks compatible normal, the Dollzone body is used so not sure (which Vezeto is on temporarily), Kein on Spiritdoll, Dragon Doll torso in Normal Yellow, Doll Family normal yellow, Illusion Spirit normal yellow. They are marked on the pieces in the photograph. Hope this helps. Sorry about the nebbie-ness
