Got my Vezeto head today! He won't be all put together until some time after Easter, so he'll be staying in the really cool round box he came in.

My Vezeto head arrived today and wow, gorgeous sculpt. The box and the cardboard can he arrived in had been opened by both Customs and Border Patrol - I guess they were checking for Durian fruit! Anyhow, do these new heads come with the dogtag and other stuff? Becuz there was nothing in the can besides head and a paper certificate. I want to make sure nothing was removed!

What an incredibly gorgeous sculpt he is! And just by eyeballing the Proud 2 body, his head seems bigger than Abies' head, which makes me think a bigger body is needed. Anyone else feel this way too? Also the opening in his head seems way big for the Proud 2 neck. I don't want to have to mess with pliver or hot glue. So what would work best, an Iplehouse in NS or the Herculean, which I am not that fond of. Any suggestions?

Just going on numbers, Tangier, the Dollmore Glamour Model Doll neck and the Loongsoul neck (73.5cm body) look like good fits. From my research, the Loongsoul N-Y resin should be close. I have a Glamour Model doll so I can actually try that one. I'm also anxious to see exactly how Vezeto's head fits on the Spiritdoll Proud V2 body; that is a fine fine body.

The Dollmore body is a wonderful body, extremely graceful, but long long legs. The advantages are that you can get a body quickly (Dollmore is unbelievably fast on shipping, even dolls, like a week). But you have to order a whole doll, including head, and the resin match might be risky. The one new DM body I received was really really pink, like Soom is pink. BUT it toned down quickly. The older DM bodies can be yellower and lighter. There's just a lot of variation there.

The advantage of both of those bodies (for me, anyway) is that they are still in the realm of Glamor Model clothes, not in the super-hulks of Iplehouse, Idealian, Herculean, etc. which would push me into a whole new wardrobe.

I have put mine on my Dollshe Purebody Orientalskin. I can't tell about the color match as it' already night here, but it doesn't seems to be too bad. I really like the proportions. Head fits the neck perfectly but can still move without problems. From under it can look a bit too large, but it's pretty rare you look a doll from under ^^;

Do you ladies think a Vezeto will fit well on the souldoll Zenith body? I have one incoming that I got for a firaly good price.Vezto's neck size is 12cm, and soul zenith is 12.5

This may be a longshot, but could any of the owners post their vezeto with 16 mm eyes? There's a pair that I really want for mine and can only find it in that size so far secondhand. o n o I'm hoping it would make as much of a difference, even though vezeto's eyes do look pretty narrow.

Though I have slightly opened his eyes, here is a photo of my Vezeto with 16mm eyes

I first wanted to use 14mm eyes for him, but all the pairs I had home were too small. Those 16mm fits right without a huge gap on the edges. I'm not sure, but I think they are pupapa glass eyes.

Oh my, he is gorgeous, Nylh!! You did a great job opening his eyes, I think I like him even more like that! I cannot wait to see what you do with this beautiful boy!

For those looking for bodies, here's Vezeto on a NS Spiritdoll Proud V2 body - the resin match is actually quite good, much better than in the photo (some weird lighting thing going on here). . . .Vezeto will fit on a larger neck and I even tried him on my Dollmore Glamour Model body (12cm neck compared to 10.5 on Spiritdoll). The head worked but the body just wasn't right for him. I had Kien on a Spiritdoll body for quite a while and just felt the head (smaller than Vezeto) was a bit too small for it. In playing with these I put Kien on an SSDF body and I just LOVE it. I'm ordering Vezeto his own Spiritdoll body.

They're wonderful! I didn't realize they were so big, but heck as long as you can find something like the Spiritdoll body, why not. Looking forward to seeing these guys all done up!

Looks like the 16mm are a decent fit even without the mods. Vezeto is such a gorgeous sculpt I can't even. So happy that mine came in the other week. I won't be able to afford a body at the moment but I'm glad I have a few decent ones to choose from. I know the Granado body fits him too, but I dunno if Spiritdoll's body may pose better. o n o I'm a little more drawn to the spiritdoll body, but granado has those articulated handsss.

You may have one of the older SSDF bodies.

I have two SSDF bodies and one is noticeably smaller than the other. Vezeto looks terrible on the smaller one (which has conventional S-hooks for hands and a different hand sculpt) but fine on the bigger one, if you want a long lean body. The bigger one is a shade taller and chest is 31cm instead of 29cm. I was really fascinated when I discovered the difference. I have Kien on the smaller body, which works very well for him. On it, he's a bit shorter than my Spinel on a Spiritdoll body; on the larger SSDF body -- which has the magnetic hands -- he's a bit taller than Spinel on Spiritdoll.

I have another head on the newer and taller SSDF body right now and am going to order a Spiritdoll body for Vezeto. I think the extra 1-2cm of height on the newer SSDF body is in the torso and the long lean basketball-player look is not what I'm going for with Vezeto. Those Spiritdoll bodies are just so wonderfully proportioned..

I actually did a photo comparison of Kien on the two SSDF bodies; if anyone is interested, I'll upload it and post it.

This is the photo that really shows the difference between the two SSDF bodies. Same clothes and shoes and I tried for the same pose. The Spinel (on Spiritdoll Proud) on the right is in the same pose, just turned a bit in one photo. Note that this is Dollclans Kien, not Vezeto. Kien is now permanently on the smaller body.


I also greatly lightened and uploaded a photo of the three bodies, with Vezeto on the bigger SSDF body, for reference. It's a terrible photo in terms of faces, but I hope it shows the difference in the body types of the two SSDF bodies. In that photo, the middle SSDF body actually has a bit of a height boost from the shoes and is still a bit shorter. The one on the right is the newer SSDF body with the magnetic hands.

Just to make sure you're talking about the right photo - the photo I posted here is Kien, not Vezeto. Vezeto is the blank head in the photo in the link. I think he looks like a basketball player or swimmer on that bigger SSDF body. He may wind up on it, but more likely he will go on a Spiritdoll body. Kien for sure is staying on the smaller SSDF body. He is meant to be small, but deadly. (I'm building a black ops team of four, three guys and one woman. Or maybe five, if DollClans comes out with another gorgeous head.)

Yes, that's the photo I was talking about, where you can't really see Vezeto's face. Kien also looks perfect on the older SSDF body! I hadn't really thought about the SSDF body as a possible match (I tend to forget Luts...) but your pictures changed my mind!
Well, technically I don't have a Vezeto head yet, so I hope and pray for another order period and by that time I'll have my Proud body, so I can see for myself how that combination looks. Can't wait!
