Dollarama in Canada has those "astroturf" sheets. I bought some myself, not sure where I'll use them though.. in my bookcase "house", a plastic dollhouse I have in storage (doubt that would be a good place for it though), or the pumpkin houses I want to make.

Loki's Mom feedback, eBay feedback Thanks! XD
If anyone has the following Blue Fairy outfits (not dolls): Paul's Case or Sweet Day May V. for sale, please PM me!
Therapy helps, but screaming obscenities is cheaper.
What a wonderful thread this is! Everyone has such creative ideas.
I have been thinking of buying a dollhouse kit to assemble for my FL Realpukis. There seem to be two sizes: 1:1 and 1/2. Does anyknow know which size is the better fit for Realpukis? I wouldn't want them to look lost in it, but I don't want it looking too small, either.

yeah the only thing rp's would look lost in is the 1/6th or playscale which fits barbies or littlefees

Thanks richila and auntbear! It's hard when you shop online and can't stand the doll inside the house for comparison. I'll go scope out the 1:1.
Thanks Valli.
Loki'sMom: I actually found this Bakery 2nd hand on ebay. They do still turn up from time to time, so I hope you can find one.
I've been taking pics of all my dolly homes. Here's the Watermill Bakery where Cricket (RP Kaka)lives...
There are more pics of the Bakery and my other dollhouses at my flickr. Just click on the pic to be taken there.![]()
ooh, your lucky dollies!

Hi everyone!I've gotten so much inspiration going through every single page of this wonderful thread. And I thought I'd add my own work-in-progress (a woodland fairyhouse) for my little realpuki, Grannybelle. This is a big chunk-o-mesquite (part stump, part roots...I'm actually using it upside down) that I dragged home with a rope tied to it years ago just because I thought it was pretty and quirky.
I spent most of yesterday staining it so the lighter, newly carved-with-a-chainsaw nooks (courtesy of my dear hubby) would match the weathered natural color of the rest of the wood. And then I applied a protective coating of polyurethane (by brush...took forever to get into all those little nooks and crannies)
followed by multiple coats of a spray satin enamel. Now let the renovations begin! You can see where the faux front door will eventually go in the middle.
The front:

That is really an amazing find! Can't wait to see what you do with it.
Thanks sweetiemom! And here's the back (hubby carved out areas to fit her pre-existing bedroom furniture.) Next thing is to find some sort of base for this thing.

The front is just as beautiful as the back. I can truly believe a little fairy desert dweller would have sought this out for their home.
I would love to build a room for my new (and first) doll which will arrive soon.
My girl will be 16 centimeter so would she fit in a 1:12 house or would that look really odd?
PoeticSoul, this is a beautiful future home!

Lil Spark, what a cute cage Mim has there!
I''ve been lurking around on this thread for a while as I would love to build a home for my Pukifees and soon to be Vanilla Ringo, along with various assorted miniature props I have amassed.
Here in Sydney we have a great giant hobby store in the City which, although it's moved a couple of times over the years still has one of the best ranges of building materials and interior supplies for scale models and miniatures. For years I visited to buy various other materials but always loved looking at the miniatures supplies hoping one day to start my own project...after all I was one of the lucky owners of a hand built doll house my dad lovingly made for me as a child and including my favourite item of all, a tiny wardrobe complete with brilliantly made tiny wire coat hangers. He also made me the most gorgeous stable for my MLPs to go with it too. Unfortunately they have long been passed on to other members of my family, sadly, having had no say in the matter myself. However, my dad's inspirational legacy lives on and now I would like to try building a couple of houses myself...one for me and one for my 8 year old daughter.
