Oh yes, I also go for the Lati Red sized tops at Sadol, too. YIDs are narrow through chest & shoulders, so SD13 tops don't fit as sleekly. If your Louis wants sleek urbane styles, he'll love Sadol stuff. ^^

If you'll pardon my spam again, here is Remy (Mars, Model YID body) in a Sadol top in Lati Red size-- Look how the shoulders fit just right. It's supposed to be drapey, but if it were an SD13 size, it'd slide right off of him.



I have bought their leather skinny-jeans & their snake-pants in both SD13 & Lati sizes, because I've got dolls with similar styles who just can't share pants-- the difference in fit is really noticeable. (For one thing, if I accidentally try to stuff my SD13 Tony into Remy's Lati-sized pants, they won't even slide up over his big Volks ass. XD)

Okay! Note taken. Also, if Lati doesn't happen to be offered, what should I choose then? Aren't YID long legged? There is SD13 long legged. How confusing.

Good question! Sadol used to offer the Lati size for everything, but I guess I haven't shopped there in awhile... If they don't offer Lati, then perhaps Luts Delf or Crobidoll R? I don't know anything about those two sizes when it comes to Sadol, but I think those bodies are slimmer than SD13. Mainly it's the SD13 hip-size to watch out for (Volks are big-boned).

But rather than just guessing, I'd write to Sadol and ask for advice-- tell 'em you need a Lati Red size, but Item #X isn't offered in that size, so which size is the next closest?

While we're on the topic-- does anybody know if Crobi R clothes do fit YIDs or not? If so, I'd love to shop at crobidoll.com. They make gorgeous things. <3

* Width of shoulders : 15cm
* Lenth of "from shoulder to wrist: 19cm

* Circumference of waist : 21.2cm
* Circumference of hips : 25cm
* From waist to tiptoe : 38cm
* Foot size:7.8cm

Hehe-- well, I've been trying to clothe these skinny buggers for about 7 years now. ^^ There sure didn't used to be this many different shopping options back then! (But right now, I am on a shopping moratorium until I find a new job. ;;^^)

But I have never tried Sadol's Crobi-R sizes yet, & I've never bought anything firsthand from Crobi themselves. I just thought that if Sadol ever stops offering Lati sizes, there has to be another skinny-63cm size that'd work instead.... Delfs are slimmer than SD13s, but I'm not sure about their butt size for pants. Crobi-R are also a little bigger in the hips but I think their shoulders might be almost the same. If you ever write to Sadol & ask, let us know what they say!

Aww, that sucks! ;; I just looked on their site, and SOME of the clothes still offered a Lati size in the drop-down, but many of them did not. Waaii, maybe they lost their fit-model.

Well, tell them you have a boy with thin hips, so could they maybe make the pants slimmer than SD13? Provide his measurements, & maybe they could help you out. It kinda doesn't sound like they'd do any special sizing, though, which also sucks.

Yeah, I provided the sizes, but they just misunderstood the question and said they couldn't tailor to the sizes. Um...I asked if id SD13 long legged was close to their sizes. Lol. Asian people are hard to deal with. I would know, I'm Asian. I guess I'll have to do some experimenting, but this is gonna suck for my wallet.

Hello all. I have just received my Louis from the spa last night. He had a face up by LilyGami. He is new to me but he isn't a new doll. He's been around for quite some time and has actually had 4 or 5 owners before.

I want to get him new hands. But my question is. The previous owner told me that he was WS. But I think he may have yellowed over time. If I get him new hands should I get him WS? or NS? I'm not sure which would come closer to his old resin in shade.

What do you think?

I know I'm most likely nooot welcome here, because I know next to nothing about BJDs (I'm more the Dollfie Dream type..) but I'm absolutely in utter love with Rexy, but I'm extremely frightened of the price. So I'd like to ask, are YIDs worth it? Are they like super good quality? I know they're very gorgeous. Do I dare invest? And how many people have and want clothing for their YIDs? The YIDs in this thread are the old discontinued models, which don't have the huge T&A.

But all Iplehouse dolls are lovely quality.
