well i replied to that asking if they had any idea when (if they were willing to give it up) these new dolls would be out and available but they haven't answered me yet.

And even if they did redo the body before, the only thing that would have changed for me is I would have gotten the Iris and Soo Ri on a "new" body.
In any case, I got my 2 favourite of the "old" line. But if they release a new line, with improved bodies, and mobility choice, etc, I am going to have to get another couple, and all the clothes of course

There are so many iffies with that statement. And no certainty that the older heads will be rereleased, or that the newer bodies will be lean and not bulked up, or that they even mean 62-63cm height (what with the new trend out towards muscley 50cm males). Or maybe it means all newer sculpts in line with the EID esthetic. Who knows, maybe they've been having lots of requests for the bigger dolls translated down on size.
If they really mean to continue the line (with some improvements maybe), maybe it was due to the outpouring of interest. I'd hate to think that was their intention all along, but they just wanted to offload any lingering stock first.
La, the cynic in me always gets first voice! But I'm not getting psyched in general until there's more information coming along.

Now I have been asking off and on for a couple of months now and have not gotten a direct answer. I want to get TWO SID Custom Ebony Ashanti. Twins of course, but i wanted to make into a boy. As i have questions:
1. Would a female SID head fit on a SID male body correctly?
2. Would it be possible to ask Iplehouse for an SID Male Ebony Ashanti custom?
An email would be great as that im not here alot. but i will make an effort to check back at an ealier convenience to any replys to my dillema.

I know I'll probably get to answer your first question, but from what I could tell from some of the questions I asked Iple because of a floating YID head I have, it seems like the neck joint for the female is smaller than the one for the male. Like you're able to put a female SID head on a male YID body and a male YID head on a EID or SID female body only while looking a bit awkward.
I would think the only way to go around it is if you mod it.

So, if it´s true the rumor, we could assume that they only wanted to close the sales of the sculpts (maybe it was due to the end of the contract with the sculptor).

Yup. I'm saving. I think I'm up to $110 already or so. But when I hit $500 or so, if nothing has happened, I'm going to get a Tiny Fairy.
