I am in love with this body! But he is waaay too tall for the floating head I have :/
and then I discovered the Supia boy body, which is very (I think) similar in musculature but shorter! =D
It seems that this body type is becoming more common, I love it! Not ridiculously muscular but not too skinny either <3

Do anyone know if the body will fit along with a Unidoll Jace head?
I'm thinking of getting the body for my boy, since I'm getting a little irritated about the fact that he doesn't have a torso-joint :/

I love the girl body and I really like the Rian head that he created for it. Does anyone have more info on the other younger doll bodies he plans to make? I'm asking because I always adored his 13yrs old girl body with the small breasts. I never bought it because I really want a body like that with a higher (slouch)torso joint.

I really love the 18y boy body, but's too big for my boy (he needs to stand beside a Volks SD13). Too bad, 'cause I really like his torso and his lean, but muscular build.

Silk: There's a discussion thread with height comparison shots and other information here as well: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/sh...oys-Discussion Apparently he fits SD17 clothes? Don't know about the resin match.

On topic: I'm hoping to see pictures when they start to arrive, still holding out hope that the body may not be excessively large for another head <3

It's unfortunate your original plans didn't work out, but man oh man what a lovely piece of resin.

It is definitely a lovely thing! He's almost as tall as our Mecha Angel and Dollshe DSAM boys though, and more muscular! I guess if you had a crew of Idealians and EID Model boys, he'd fit right in. He looks incredibly menacing next to our 60cm dolls. O_o

Hearing that also pleases me. I have a character who's rather menacing so the body would totally work.

I must confess to thinking the same.....eek!

    Can he sit straight please?
He appeared to be leaning back slightly when sitting, like the female DT18 body does..........
    Have fun!

No, he can't really sit straight up, but the upper body can shift forward so that he has a nice curled slouch. I can see now why he did away with the lower joint, because this body actually functions more like a human spine than the previous body, but it takes some getting used to. Unlike the 15, the upper torso can shift to the side, and the alterations to the sides of the hip sockets allow for the contraposto pose still. The joint engineering is very reminicent of ShinyDoll. the upper break in the joint is in the same position as it would be on a single jointed doll, and the secondary break simply allows for the hyper-extension of some poses. You don't have to engage the second joint, and when you don't the seam is almost unnoticable.

Thank you very much St. James
I am really sorry he can’t sit straight.

I have only had the DT15 for about a year and half and I am really impressed with it. I don't necessarily want a doll to function like a human body but I do want it when clothed to be able to reflect one. (I hope that makes sense)
So I like my dolls to sit straight.........it would drive me berserk to have a doll that could do that.
So I know I would miss the lower torso joint

If I am going to fully appreciate this new DT body I have got to stop comparing it to the DT15 one
    Have fun!

I seriously am in love with the boy body, but I can't seem to find anywhere anything about CURRENT resin matches for Dollstown.... I need to know what my options are for a head for this beauty!
I don't need a compass to know which way the wind shines...

Anything that matches Dollshe will match Dollstown as they have the same resin colors.

I took a few comparison photos and posted them here: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?519907

I think Mecha Angel heads could work on this body if you wanted something less skinny and more elegant. All I can say about an LLT Roderich head on it is Please, NO! But I did include my Roderich in one of the shots.

lol The Pure body looks so tiny next to him. Looks like I'll be sticking with the Pure body as my first choice for my twins at the moment. Also means my Obsidius head really won't work on it. Back to the drawing board for him. But I do like that it could work as a nice alternative for a MA head.

I also love how proportioned the body looks. The problem I tend to have with some is how the upper body doesn't seem to match the lower body in terms of thickness.

Indeed. I think he's now the most perfectly proportioned idealized male doll available. I'm sure he'll still look leggy next to an EID, but I've never been keen on those guys.

the owner pictures of DT 18's boy body definitely do not disapoint (well, apart from how large the body is) knew it would be large ... but thought it would be more in proportion with the 15 Boy body which is dwarfed ... a rather impressive growth spurt lol

the sculpture is so well done ...
