Saffron,I would love to get him in grey resin and made him... some kind of drow (my OC is half-drow <3)
And yes - I want him with face up because I don't have an experience in face-ups and I don't want to screw something up ;x
But I want darker face up for him ^^

Hello!

I'm new to this thread

Some weeks ago I received a present from Solymar, it was a lovely Michelle head

I have modded her nose as it was too long and I preferred a more natural look. And also have given her a face-up

She's on a 14 Yrs Elegance body from Ariadoll (NS) and the resin match is almost perfect

Maybe, the only thing is that due to her laaarge head size she looks to be a "short girl" (but, hey, there are more women in the world than the tall super-models, aren't there? ).

Fairy Milliner: My daughter walked by the doll size chair he was sitting in and somehow her long shirt caught his hand and pulled him to the floor. I don't know how but I picked him up and there was black stuff all over his face. I think I ruined his face -up (which I loved) trying to clean it.

Solsikke: Your Michelle is gorgeous! I love her body, her proportions are perfect! I love her nose too.
I hope to see her around a lot!

But, aside from the face-up being damaged, is the sculpt itself okay? His face/nose/lips didn't get dinged or chipped, right?

@Solsikke; Wow, I love what you've done with Michelle! <3 I've contemplated sanding my girl's nose, but in the end I feel like it suits her character. Your girl has this beautiful youthful look to her because of the modding and faceup, and I'm sure the Ariadoll body is just gorgeous on her too. x3 Actually, that brings up a question: is your Michelle head in yellow or pink skin?

Nice picture, Saffron! Your girl looks lovely! Personally, I like the Michelle nose! It gives her face character! (I get a little tired of all the little button noses that a lot of girl dolls have.)

Rabbit-moon, I think it is just the face up, no damage to the actual resin. I still don't know where the black stuff came from.

Saffron, Thanks, I may get him out and work on him soon. I love that picture of Annette, I think she looks adorable. I can't ever get my pics to show how pretty some of my dolls are either. I need a better camera I guess?

Did you mention what color resin your Angelo head is?

I have an Edmund, too, and I got a free Tumnus head in normal yellow. Right now he's on a Fantasy Doll normal yellow body, and the match is pretty decent. I posted pictures in the 5Star Waiting Room of Tumnus on that body.

I want a bigger body for him, so I have a normal yellow DZ ver.3-1/3 boy body on order. Im hoping the resin match will be good. I will let you know when the DZ body arrives.

Wow, they do look impressive!! I love the new picture of Becca, too - I always thought the old one didn't do her justice.

Now it would be nice if we could see them without those wigs so we could look at their ears...

Are you see a new Super female body? It's more massive and taller. I think it'll relief some size disproportion between girl head and old body...

Yes, I saw them, heyxxkelsey! I think they look good! I really like Dark's face-up and costume, but the third-eye is a little scary.

I also noticed the new 1/3 girl's body; very nice! It looks like the body is maybe bigger, and the hands are definitely larger. I hope they do the same for the 1/3 boy body and give him some decent sized hands! Pleeeeze!
