Lexi arrived last Monday. And it finally warmed up enough that I could airbrush her body and give a manicure! The dress I made for her fit perfectly. I did not do anything too fitted, as I was not sure of her large waist and hips.
She is one of the most unusual bjds I own. I am still not quite sure what to think of her. She is hard to photograph. I am not fond of her default painting. (I do love the way Milonga painted her girl.) Her resin is lighter than I thought, although lovely and so well sanded. After the blushing, she does look better.
Her body makes it difficult for me to use as a standard MSD for my sweaters. She does fit my next Free Quarterly Pattern just fine. Look for that in April. For her bottom half, I will have to draft up special patterns. I have the top half of her fitted just fine.
My only real complaint is shoes. The best I have on hand is a pair from ReleaseRain, a standard Mary Jane type in SD size. However, the only color I have is silver, not good! I looked through ebay to see if she has more of this style and could not find any. I do not like her in high heels as she is hard enough to stand correctly and the heels only add to the problem. I will continue to look and see what I can find for her.
I hope to get more photos of her and put them on my Doll Gallery section of my website.
