Hi guys, I am new to this, havent even greeted my first doll (read dolls) yet, but today, I fell in love again, Lycoris Debon. He is so precious! He will be the protector of his house. The delivery date is way out but I don't care. He is my guy now and forever...except when my older daughter sees him she might try to get him to change fiefs. What clever plots could she employ??
My dh and I watch Toshiro Mifune movies or other Japanese movies all the time, I was raised in a Japanese culture and love the grace and nobility of culture. I watched Lone Wolf with Child from the very beginning....oh, broke my heart...
He comes with everything except the beautiful swords.
Does anyone know where to get them?

Congrats on getting Lycoris Debon! I was also eyeing the new DEARMINE series of Infiniti Doll, but I couldn't decide to order one. They are all so cute!

I would suggest this topic would be better suited for the "Anthro" threads ^^.

I do like Debon! His costume is wonderful, and I like his face, especially the shape of his eyes. I really wish the site had a nude pic of the body so I could compare it to my Zuzu and Baha. Once you get yours, Kathe, you'll have to take lots and lots of photos for us!

With a two part torso and no ankle joints, I'm wondering whether they'll be very posable compared to a Pipos doll. From the pictures they can't sit up entirely straight. But those things didn't stop me from buying an Oriental Lycoris Debon! I think he's unbearably cute.

interesting...although they do look an awful lot like the Zuzu delfs especially the lion zuzu... looking at the faces... they are a bit different... and the bodies look longer... argh I shouldn't have looked... I think I love that Oriental lycoris siamy O.o OMG she's gorgeous!

I wanted to post a comment to ask if they would take layaway at the Dear Mine website and it just doesn't work ;.; can anyone else try and ask them maybe it's my browser. also I tried to register to the website and it just doesn't work >.<

I fell in love with oriental lycoris debon the second I set my eyes on him! >w< I just can't say no to cute kitties although he's the first anthro I've ever wanted (hm well, actually zuzu delfs are quite tempting, too!).
The legs bother me though ... why no ankle joints? *sob*
And I wonder where to get a cute little katana for him ...

Hi, glad you like him too! I never thought I would consider an anthro either, but he is so cute. Where could you get a katana to fit him?? I ordered him, they take paypal ... and then nothing. I emailed requesting a confirmation that they received my order and an approximate shpping month, but have heard nothing. Kind of makes me nervous.
And whats up with the no ankle joints?? Ashamed to say I didn't notice that but who doesn't put in ankle joints??? He's still a bjd.

I fell head-over-heels with Lavendar Garden Debon when I first saw him 2 days ago, and just bought him last night! I can't stop squeeing!
He'll be a female (looks so feminine!) and be best friends with my Zuzu Delf Lio. I held Lio up to a picture of Debon, and they do look really alike! They'll be such a sweet pair together
I hope the mods decide that they're on-topic, but who knows, since they don't have ankle joints :S
I just LOVE that they have sculpted fluff on the legs, tail, and cheeks. That's what won me over most, I think

Lavender Garden Debon is gorgeous If I'd had enough money I would have bought both. That's always the way of the doll hobby *sigh*

The site says they take 16-18mm eyes... That's huge for a 20cm doll! My Pipos Bao takes 14mm and he's 27cm tall.

My Zuzu Delf Lio (18cm tall) takes 16mm eyes~ the 18mm's in the picture look a bit big to me :S I want to try 16mm's in my Debon when he gets here first, and I'm holding out in case the eyewell is too big and the whites don't fit the hole.
Bao takes tiny eyes! :O

I really liked DearMine Lycoris Debon... but I had to order Lycoris Siamy instead . I really hope they release more outfits and accessories for them. I never though I would want to dress an Anthro...but these guys are sooo cute!
