    Hi there, i'm jumping here to see what's going on with RD, still no news?The company haven't come back to regular production?

    I just looked around, searched a bit in the web - but no news.

    Well, I think they will recover. I'm really sorry for everyone who does not get his doll and has to wait a long time. I don't want to find some excuses, but hey...they wrote that they want to give everyone a present, maybe a little doll? I think this takes some extra time - it is definitely nice from them, but the extra time~

    I can understand that they go to animefests, and I can understand that they have an auto reply to their mails. It's not ok to let the customers wait so long, but hey...it just needs a stiff (maybe stupid) director who said that they aren't allowed to sent out mails with personal answers. On the other side, I can imagine how hard it is to recover datas after that incident they had.

    I'm still a newbie to the BJD scene, so...have there been any other case like this one? Some comparable to this one?

    If this goes one, maybe it would be the best to find some chinese people who can walk to them and confront? I mean, just a reaction from them would be enough to know what they are actually thinking about their customers.

    I'm quite new to this hobby as well, since 2008 at least, so i guess that everything is possible, maybe just someone cna reply to customers enquire via mail or not, not sure if RingDoll actually reply to messages on FB,
    thanks so much btw for the info you're sharing, i hope that everyone could get their dolls shortly from the company.

    2008? Trust me, I doubt if you'd be considered "new" if you'd been in that long!

    If it was me, I'd be impatient as well, but I think that this may be a case of a new company having a run of bad luck and then trying to recover from it. I hope they do. I still want to get the Grown body for Yuki-san someday!

    To be honest i guess you're completely right about RingDoll, it's a company that i love and i hope that can fix their backog shortly!

    2008 sounds quite a long time!

    I just contaced my local dealer here in germany who offers ringdolls. She wasn't able to tell me whats up with them, because she only buys them over alice collection. But she wrote them a mail, maybe (even if its a really smale chance) I'll get some infos.

    I think you two are absolutely right.
    Since I'm working as an administrator for a webshop, I can understand how hard it is for them to recover. And what I just tought about - other country = other mind. I think they are just dealing with this case, how they are...ah, really hard to explain what I want so say.

    Maybe this all has something to do with their thinking about honor - like, "I just act like I never received a e-mail or a complain, do my work, put an extra gift to the customer, so that they can't say we don't care and so I won't lose my honor." Maybe somehow like that?

    I guess you made a very good point, asian are very very caring about Honor, maybe is something as italian that i can understand, as usually we keep our promises, to keep up our own honor.
    I guess that company try to give some gifts to proove they're truly sorry for this backlog, i think it's very very commendable act.
    Also we shall consider the language issue, sometimes it ain't easy understand english, expecially if you're korean or chinese mother language.

    No good news here. I read from their official forum in chinese that members ordered in January still not hearing anything of shipping. Very few in white skin(unknown order period, maybe early Jan/Dec) were shipped but no single tan skin doll is made.
    And judging from those complains, I have to say that their customer service is quite...bad. Staff can never give out any real shipping time frame, or simply disappear, not response to questions.
    I like their 72cm body very much and admire it's style, but I will order only after all the problem/backlog solved.

    It sucks that you have to wait that long, Amber. Dollshe probably didn't realize just how many orders they were going to get when they aired that event, so the wait time tends to be a loooot longer. It's almost the same situation as RD here, they put out a new body they couldn't handle producing a lot of and pretty soon they're back logged.

    This is a special case, with the accidents the company has had and the hardships they've had to endure, but often times some companies take on a workload they find it hard to fullfill. It doesn't happen a lot, but it does happen. Especially around holiday and event periods, because discounts are often given and widely taken advantage of.

    $avage- I just wanted to say hi because I talk to $abbatha often through PMs, so I might as well introduce myself to the other sister Nice to see you back in the Ringdoll discussion, I'm glad there are still some people who are willing to support Ringdoll through this tough time.

    pointyhat- I've been stalking the Ringdoll Waiting Room and I believe there are people waiting from November! I agree, I think their grown body is very nice, and I hope to order as well once they get this sorted out. I just wish they would respond to their customers, even just update more often on their facebook or something to let people know they are still making their dolls.

    dragonofl5- I don't think Dollshe realized the high demand either. But I love Dollshe for constantly keeping in touch and being available. Ringdoll on the other hand does have a reputation for not keeping in touch with their customers, even still, I have faith that they will send out those orders. They wouldn't show Frankenstein if they were that bad off, imo

    I'm completely on your side, and i share your point, it's useless untill RD recover the backlog to take some dolls from them,
    it's the best to wait maybe till fall and see if the company can fix a shipping/production time shedule.
    I was caught in DZ backlog of 2008 and it was terrible to handle, so better to be patience....

    I agree as well, we never know exaclty what has happened to RD, and sometimes simpy company take too much pre-oreder for a doll, i guess that this is the case, or maybe they had some seriously production issue, but it could happens....

    I am SO glad now all my emails were ignored after the initial contact. If I had put out the money I would not be happy now, especially since they are not communicating again.

    I think the free gift will be fist hands - that's my impression from their FB.

    I almost ordered a Judges from them, and am so glad I was distracted from that ^^; I really feel sorry for those that ordered dolls and are stressed out from RD's mistakes. I hope the company can make a comeback.

    Talked to Mint the other day about their communications with RD. Lindsey said they've had contact with them, but that it's sparingly and they still have yet to recieve their orders from all the way back in November. They're going to try and contact them again, but it's looking pretty bleak...

    There have been people who have waited up to a year for dolls from other companies that are still around... so hopefully it'll all work out okay... although people waiting must be having a hard time.

    I've read the previous comments,and i must say that at this point is better to not order from RingDoll at least right now,i've ordered in winter some uniform from them,thur European dealer,and everuthing wnet smooth,but at this point the best is wait to see if the company will solve this surreal backlog..sometimes been picky about company communication could be really a salvation,cause if i ever ordered from them without any consideration of the company slow communication i would been in trouble..
