well I can see a new discussion for the angel studio's miss anna but is nobody interested in these ones?
    http://www.bjdcollectasy.com/neo-ang...imp-dolls.html
I think they are cute, but It looks like they have the same body as the little gienie...the faces are different but I don't understand why they are called timp.................anyway they are cute and reminded me a little about the puki.......just don't need one at the moment but I did order the outfits for a puki doll

    ....Mod Notes.....

This is a discusion of Neo-AngelRegion Timp Dolls. (Neo-AngelRegion and Soom have a partnership.)

Oh boy--Rotini is a must have for me, that face is wonderful!! But does anyone else think that Cappelini is a dead ringer for Fairylands Darjeeling?
I do have a question, for those who have ordered here--I have heard that it takes up to six months to get your doll, is that normal for them?

Thanks for posting this Wilkes, otherwise I would have missed it! (Adds Rotini to her dolly list....)

Can't speak for the face, but as for the body...not copied from Puki at all, actually. The AR tiny line has been around many years longer than Fairyland has been in existence. Rainman sculpted this body long ago. That's a standard Genie body, the only change really is the hands and the new heads. It was actually one of the best posing tiny bodies for years, until Wishels showed up (then Puki and Brownie).

Fee isn't quite as poseable as Pukis, but she's no slouch:

It's an excellent body, actually, very versatile. If they had a face I liked (as was the case with Risi), I'd order in a heartbeat.

OK, I have one negative with her. DO NOT pay the $20 for the glass eyes !!! When the eyes are in, her faceplate does not fit on her. Take the eyes out and the faceplate fits tightly. With the eyes in, her faceplate falls off continuously. I am going to contact Soom about this because had there been any suggestion of this problem, I would NOT have paid for these eyes !!! I would have bought a half round eye from somewhere else and saved a lot of $ !!! I'll keep you posted on what happens with this problem from my end. Everything else, she is worth getting.

I'll get more soon but it is overcast so the light is coming and going. Not very nice for photo taking on such a teeny kiddy.

lol Sorry Jenny, I was slow. I didn't want to start her faceup yesterday because it was so humid. I didn't want to risk the msc reacting so I have done her while waiting for the delivery lady today. She is now nearly finished but had to quickly get on the body when Chloe arrived. I couldn't have her meet her new sister without a body !! Anyway, she only needs eye brows/lashes and she will be finished.

Oh and with Soom and the eyes.... they told be to return her head, faceplate and eyes and that maybe they hadn't made the holes large enough for that sized eyes. BUT that isn't the problem. Her eyes fit in beautifully ..... if she only has one eye in. You can get the two eyes to fit in beautifully but with a bit of pressure on the eyes so no amount of increased eye size would fix that up unless they made the eyes further apart or made her head wider. In the end, I have taken the eyes out of my pukipuki pukisha and taken the back half off the eye - so they are only the eye curved front without the stem. It is completely the stem on the eyes that causes the faceplate not to fit onto the headback because there is nothing at all wrong when using the piki eyes without the stems. They fit beautifully and her faceplate is nice and snug. Anyway, maybe it is a once off but I honestly think this will be a problem with all glass eyes with stems and also with this sized eye. I am not gonna bother sending her off though coz it isn't worth the time and effort. Plus I know if they take her and make her any different, I won't like her as much as I do right now. So she will keep the puki eyes and she is happy enough ;-) Just a waste buying the eyes Soom recommends coz it is $20 spent on something she won't be able to ever use.

How many days till your kiddy starts her journey to you Jenny ?? Oh and I absolutely adore your Avatar. She is beautiful.

:'( boohoo. STILL !!! I can't believe they have you still waiting when you were meant to get her sent out only a couple of days after mine was due to be sent out. I hope it is soon that she is sent but I do believe it is a delay worth accepting because it will make it more likely she will be a much better baby. I am wondering if they have decided to look closer at the dolls before sending them out to see if the glass eyes can be made to fit better in their little head ?? I hope so because it sure is a let down when you buy a doll and purchase very costly eyes which THEY recommend for the specific doll and when it arrives, suddenly the eyes can't be placed in the head because the head is too small. At least the glass eyes fit in with my PukiPuki head and the Puki eyes fit in the teeny Timp head.

I have named her. With the help of a DOA friend, I am going to name her Savannah. One big name for one little girl :-P Oooh and she now has eyebrows :-P

Koxinel, welcome to DOA--and hang on to your wallet!!!

WEll, they have now told me they "noticed a problem with the eyes", so they will fix it and mail her Monday. I am not happy at all. If they make her eyewells larger, it will ruin the whole look of the doll. Now I am afraid of what I will be getting! So I am not happy, and not excited, to think I may be getting a doll whose look is not at all what I ordered.

Thinking of cancelling my other order, for Cappelini--they say you have to call to cancel, but do they understand English?

Oh Jenny :-( I am so sad for you. BUT happy that they are making the changes to the doll. Personally, all they need to do is tell people to get their own eyes and give a refund or offer smaller eyes. It would have guaranteed you wouldn't be worrying about the doll being something different to what the photo's show them to be. I was against sending my faceplate back because I was worried about WHAT they could do to make the glass eyes fit in. If you want details, I can try taking a photo of the eyes in the head to show you what the problem is. It is mainly that the eyes are too large to fit side by side within the teeny head and when you do get them squeezed in, they aren't flush with the face so there is a gap around the eyes. Then, when you put the faceplate with the eyes in place onto the head back, the s-hook is in the way and there is no chance of fitting the faceplate on without a gap around the sides and the faceplate falls off REALLY easily. So they have a LOT to do if they want to be able to fit these same eyes onto the same little sculpt. You can see why it would be better to get smaller eyes or plastic eyes that you can take off the stump end and just use the half round eye which doesn't get in the way of the s-hook or anything.

I have my fingers crossed that your Rotini arrives with the same look that they sold her as and if she doesn't I would say you are totally right to want to cancel the order for Cappelini. You don't want two dolls who have the same stress and worry attached. Rotini really is a very cute little sculpt and I do hope you find her totally irresistable whenever they do send her.

    Angry

See, THAT is what I am afraid of--WHAT they will do to "fix" it. I am just really angry at the whole situtation right now. If I could contact them I would tell them I don't care about the eyes, just ship her--but by the time they read it, the damage will be done. If they ground the stems off the eyes, that might work. I just really am disgusted, and don't want to have to mess around with fighting them to get a refund and mailing the doll back.

Edit--I sent them an email marked URGENT and sent it high priority to the email address they use for Paypal payments. I told them I do not want the doll altered in ANY way, and if they are not happy with how the eyes fit, they can leave them out of my order and refund me the 20 dollars. I sent it read receipt requested, so I can only hope they get it before the ruin my doll.

I will NEVER order from this company again! Getting a new doll is supposed to be fun, not stressful.

Hello! Just popping to to say my tiny Rotini arrived today. Well, she actually arrived yesterday but I collected her from the PO this morning.

She is a delightful little thing! I was *squeeing* over her all morning. Sadly my camera was out of charge, so I can't add a pic of her. Hopefully tomorrow.

Everlasting babies - I have the same issue with the eyes as you do. The faceplate will not fit back on to the head when the eyes are inserted. I am rather disappointed because the eyes themselves are so lovely. I had to swap them out for a pair of acrylics from my Pukipuki - which aren't as nice. It is strange that SOOM did not test the eyes in the Timps prior to recommending them to us??

Here she is - my tiny Timp Rotini. I have named her Isabelle. She is very, very cute! She is wearing pukipuki wig, eyes, and clothese at present - which all fit her nicely.

Thanks Jenny. I do think she is cuter than her promo pics. I hope your little one arrives soon. I don't know how they can make the eyes fit? There simply isn't enough room in her tiny faceplate. Perhaps they will source a different pair of eyes for you?

I have started a new database thread for our tiny Timps. Please post pics of your little ones here.

I adopted a Rotini off the marketplace this past week, but I haven't yet decided if I adopted a boy or a girl. We're trying boy for a bit, then we'll see if girl works better.

She wears Kelly doll clothing, or anything that will fit a Puki. Wig size should be 3-4, Elfdoll tiny wigs will fit. Eyes, I went with 8mms.

Ahhh Timp Lovers, here is our Tiny Timp "PyXy" being introduced by TiGGy. Mine came with eyes so I can't help you there, I believe they were from Soom, but the eye stems were cut off so they would fit or something. I too got mine on MP, and I utterly adore her soft beautiful resin, and sweet expression

Even though there's not a lot of Timp picture spam to be found online, I started a new Flickr group for these lovelies:
    http://www.flickr.com/groups/1896696@N25/
I just found out about their existence but I think I'll cave tonight and order one. I just can't choose yet: Rotini or Capellini...

I found a Capellini on the MP and she's finally home! She's a cutie, just a little bit shorter than a Fairyland puki, and she poses nicely.

I bought her blank and gave her a temporary faceup for this picture. Hope I can send her off soon to get something more permanent.

It's a shame this topic is so dead

My little Timp was shipped on August 1st and she's in the Netherlands now, waiting in the customs office to be shipped to me.

I posted a new waiting room for Neo AngelRegion:
