I've searched and searched, but does anyone know if it's possible to hybrid the sharics head with another body? I'm looking proportions and neck sizes, mostly. I'll worry about resin match later. Since their heads are generally smaller than MSD heads, they could probably match proportionately? Can anyone put a head on another MSD to see? Or do you think the neck will be too different? (Sorry, I've never tried a hybrid before)

I can't believe I'm saying it, but the Vito body is just *too* ripped for my character (but the body sculpt is soooooooo awesome).

Ta daa!! My boy finally arrived after a wait of 5 months o.O Hoping to have his faceup finished soon and begin clothing, and naming him! He has some pants but they turned out to be way too big >.<

2012 is the year of Lester. At least part of the year anyway.

While SD has added clothes, they haven't added new basic Vito sculpts, which makes me wary regarding the line's future.

I'm also a little concerned. I think Lester will be my next doll; I might put one on layaway next month at Denver Doll. You'd think they would have made a compatible girl too.

If I'd followed initial plans he'd already be on layaway, but I've been waiting to see what LLT is doing with Ludwig, and now Iple is relaunching YIDs end of this month/beginning of April. Worst case he goes on layaway in late summer/early fall. That's as far as he gets put off. It's already been a year since he wound up on the to-be-bought list.

Their head sizes seem pretty similar, he wears a 7/8 wig and some minifee also wear 7/8 so the basic size difference isn't huge. Minifee heads are very round though so there's an odd contrast between his realism versus their cartoony look despite the size similarities. I'll take pics next week though!

I was really hoping they would have released a girl by now. Seemed odd when they released Sharics instead of a girl. Not that Sharics isn't lovely of course

I'm guessing they thought to get the line started strong with boys, and if sales were good enough, to add a girl. Don't think that's happened.

I'll be really sad if the axe the Vito line; I'm really liking the size. Oh well, at least I have my Lester! I'm thinking of naming him, Blake. Anyway, here is his finished faceup!

Great job with him! I've only ever painted girls; painting guys scares me a little. I'm afraid I might not make them masculine enough. What size eyes does he take?

Thanks guys! I was worried about doing a male faceup too but I'm happy for now, I learnt a lot doing this guy! Linakauno, he's currently wearing the default eyes he came with but he seems to take 10mm - 12mm

Vito is next on my to buy list.

I have several 45cm girls who all want guys and
I've found it amazingly difficult to find the masculine
guys they want. Mature MSD girls are relatively easy
like this little beauty

I sure hope they don't axe this line! I won't have money for him for at least half a year, so... !! :[ I adore Lester so.
