News flash on clothes /sorry if it has been posted before I must have missed it/: Alice' collection shipped out the things I ordered in december (hell of a wait for clothes if you ask me), I got a black 1/3 shirt wich fits perfectly, and two pants (jeans and leather) wich would be great, but you need to take in at the waitsline to fit him perfectly. But as far as shirts go SD sized ones are good ^3^ But do not order glowes XD they are hell big for vito hands ^^;

Poulette: thats such a nice suit! :3 he looks fab in it and I love his beard too >3<

So I've been struck by my usual dolly-curse. Regardless of which day the company ships my dolls they always (and by always I mean five for five) hit customs on a Friday which means I have to wait until Monday/Tuesday to get my doll (we don't get post on Saturday and Sunday in Sweden). But probably tomorrow, Tuesday at the latest, I'm going to post a comparison pic between a JID and a Vito... though the Vito may be more or less naked.

Souldoll under-declare their packages. They wrote that my package (the size of two big doll boxes next to each other) was worth 20dollars so customs got suspicious and held my doll hostage, that's why I didn't post any pics monday.

The big problem with a Tania (JID) and Amon (Vito) pairing is the head size. First of all Tania has a pretty big head compared to say Asa or Amy (other JIDs) and Amon has a very small head. On the salepage Souldoll said the head girth was 7,25 inches whereas in reality it's 6,7 inches.

The body proportions however are great... they both look like adults.

I'll update this post with a picture (and link to more) later tonight, now however I'm going wig shopping for mr peanuthead.

shoes: I got the full set tan Rouse with the high gladiator sandals that fit perfectly.
I also bought ankle boots and high boots - both of which are big enough for my Soom guys and Hound/Bermann! they just swallow Rouse's feet up!

has anyone else had this issue? did they send the wrong size?

I haven't had time to mess with anything lately, but kept looking at those big shoes - last night finally tried them on. will leave SD a message to see what's up.

has anyone found shoes that fit these boys?

No, you send the correct size. I got a body of Lester with the shoes, which ordered with him, and they are very big. Souldoll sends the shoes for a soul-double body, and says that they are suitable for vito-body.

Specifically for vito shoes just out of the fulset, IMHO.

petiteballerine: I havent tried the shoes out with bigger boys, mine ARE a bit bigger then his feet but not like he couldnt stand in them or make any big difference D: I got him a pair of sneekers and this one: http://souldoll.com/shop/step1.php?number=2034
The sneakers are a bit closer to his actual feet size, the other one is sold as "for vito AND double" so I'm guessing they are the same size for both. But I'll chect that on our next meetup, I believe we have a double boy among our community.

Hi ZiMaze and Guyka: my guy's feet are waaaay smaller than the boots I received. the proportions are all wrong. they make his feet look like a child's in Daddy's shoes. you can see in the photo how wide and long the "double" size are next to little Vito feet.

thanks for links to sneaks that fit. I'm hoping Soom's 52cm guys will have similar size tootsies.

My Sharics got home on Friday. He is sooo gorgeous!

I'm so glad I got him in white skin, because it is delicious. Om nom nom! I promise to post pictures soon

Regarding shoes, I am mystified by those of you who've gotten footwear from Souldoll that doesn't fit our Vito boys

My boy owns three pairs from Souldoll in the Double/Vito size and they all fit him perfectly.
