yumi and Kastalia - thanks for your compliments! I love her faceup, too. The only problem I have with it is that the blushing is a little dark and makes it look almost like her head and body don't match, but I'm considering what to do about that...
I found Keelin some totally adorable boots on ebay the other day. They only just fit her, but they look so sweet and sophisticated, I don't even mind doing a little wrestling with her feet to get them on and off.

Kastalia Yeah, luckily it doesn't seem to be too obvious in photos, so I'm not rushing to get anything redone or whatever, but I think it might be more obvious if she was wearing something sleeveless. I'll have to see how much it bothers me :/

xhanthi I actually got them second-hand from the person I bought my Minoru from off the marketplace. I think she may have had them specifically commissioned for junior measurements...? They really are great, though!

Hi, Nikki! I can tell you that Narsha clothes are mostly just miss, actually. Narsha bodies are much chubbier than MW Juniors and also a bit shorter. The shorts/trousers are for such a thick body that you can almost fit two Juniors into one pair of trousers!! The dresses fit okay, as long as you don't mind the clothes looking like hand-me-downs. Narsha coats/jackets will be okay, because those items look bulky in real life. Narsha are just very barrel-bodied and MW Juniors are slim. You'd be better off getting Yo-SD clothes (which fit, but the sleeves and trouser legs are short), and making your own clothes.

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place, but I have just received a Winter Shirley and I don't think I have received the right doll. The doll they have sent me looks to me like a Clare or (from Flickr photos) a Winter Alice. Can anyone confirm which sculpt she is? Thanks!

Lily1919, the angle of your photo is different from the official, but from what I can tell, these are two different dolls.
The mouth shape seems different and I don't see any teeth on your girl. Also, the eyes seem smaller, though the shape is similar. Finally, she has a more pronounced nose on the promo shot, but that could be due to shading and blushing.
Lily1919 It looks like they sent you Shiny Fairy Sam instead of Shirley. They both were part of the White Winter release, but Sam is the YoSD sized version, not the junior.

Did they send you the wrong doll altogether, or is that head on a Junior body? Is your doll still 33cm tall, or is it more like 24cm?

That is amazing! It's not so clear from my photo, but in real life, my girl looks exactly like Sam. I didn't check the YoSD heads because she is 33 cms tall and I couldn't match her to any of the other Junior heads.
I haven't ordered from minoru before. Do you think they would swop the heads for me?

Minoruworld was very good about sending me a second package with a few things that they forgot to put in my box the first time around, so it definitely can't hurt to give it a try! If you ordered Shirley and they sent you Sam, I would think that they would definitely want to fix their mistake.
