I guess so, the average income is fairly high here.
Sadly the gap between the "well of's" and the not so fortunate, is growing, so we're quickly getting both a pretty wealthy upper middle class, and a poor lower class, and Norway's not had much of that since WWII. We've had a socialistic government with focus on solidarity, education, health care and welfare for all. It's changing now, although most of the "well of's" will deny this to the end

Well, I'm jumping off my soap box, and staright into bed.
About the BJD company, cost of rent and supplies, and strict regulations, would put a quick stop to that project I guess *lol*

She arrived tonight and has been through the customs already, I have no idea if they'll tax me though *nervous*

Maya is here! She's bigger than the yo-sds I've been used to, I am pleasantly suprised by the details on her such as the painted nails! The outfit by Badwitch is very impressive, my next homemade outfit is gonna benefit from her example! Planning to add lashes on her tonight.

Thank you guys! TeamTwo, so sorry to hear that your doll is still stuck :S Maybe she'll arrive tomorrow?

I've just given Maya a new faceup AND lashes:

After playing with her for a while, I realized that her skull is alarmingly thin, and the headcap is hooked up to the S hook and very hard to remove. The biggest nuisance is that I am unable to remove her head! The knot is right on the S hook and can't pass through the neck opening in her head. Does anyone else have the same problem? Other than the drawbacks listed above, she's really a lovely doll and I think I've already bonded with her!

I've heard about the s-hooked headcap, and plan for another solution for my Claire, including some tacky blue *lol*
If you plan to restring Maya anyways, you could just unhook her hands and feet, and let the elastic out through the head, and then put the knot in her torso when you restring her.
I would've done that, much easier and takes no more than 15 minuttes!

My girly is still stuck in the mail, that is, she arrived in my town this morning, but then full stop

I have still no idea about tax, if there is, she'll be held hostage for one more week...

Oh, no! But if she's in your town already, is there a way to find out which postal office she's being stored at and go pick her up in person?

Yes, when she does arrive at a PO, I will know where.
Right now (and all day) she's in the sorting system somewhere, probably on a truck.
My big hope is that she's safely and tax free on my local PO tomorrow.
All in all, this has all happened so quickly, that I have nothing to complain about really *lol*
But I haven't been this antsy about a new doll in ages

Rosie has recently received a new wig and a new dress ( Not very sensible for cold English weather)

Please excuse the loose hair over her face - must learn to check this before taking photos !

WoW, Rosie's new wig is adorable! She looks a bit older with the waves :3

Peyton's new wig also arrived finally^^ A bit less rusty than I expected but I'm glad I decided to try this style of bangs.

He is happy indeed that he doesn't have hot glue stuck in his hair anymore

My little Princess arrived today ^_^ Will have to wait for another day to get pictures in a better light. But for now here's my little Sakura. I'm waiting on her new wig to arrive from Leekeworld...so this temperary one will have to do for now.

*nod nod* She's an Ellie...as for skin color I was told she's the Misty Rose. I got her second hand off the marketplace so I can't vouch for how close to factory her coloring is.

Since Ellie was released misty rose skin is darker and peachier than usual =(
I'm afraid it tends more to NS from BF

*laugh* it could just be my lighting too...it's not the best here in my basement apartment. I'm going to try and get some pictures of her in more natural lighting when I get the chance.
