Oh I'm confused...I thought Isabella was SD13 size ? What makes her SD16 ? I'm new at this. I bought clothes for my coming Harmony Chloe in SD13 size because she's 58cm. Will Isabella not be able to fit in them too? I was kinda hoping they could share some clothes.

    Wink

    I think for Girls SD13 means 58cm and SD16 about 65cm.
So Isabella should fit into the clothes .

The Infinitidoll girls are a bit shorter than SD16 in height, but in terms of their bust and waist measurements, they are closer to SD16 than SD13. SD13 is more thick in the waist, with a smaller bust, whereas the Infinitidoll body is shapely/more developed. If I had the option I'd buy clothes fitted for SD16 or SDF girl rather than SD13, but since SD13 is such a common size, that's all that is available for sizing options a lot of the time. The outfits in these two shoots are both Sadol SD13 outfits, and they fit the Infinitidoll girl body because they are stretchy and not full-length. The dress in this shoot is a Volks SD13 sized dress. It 'fits' her bust, but the seam that should be under the bust isn't, because her bust is bigger than SD13. It also isn't quite long enough. Most of the time SD13 clothes will fit okay!

Here is the SID13 body vs. Volks SD16 Daria! They are both in their heel feet with high heels on, but Daria's shoes have heels that are a tiny smidgen higher than Daffodil's.

    snowgray, Gine - Thank you! I would have bought things the totally wrong size for her.. -_-;

Can daffodil wear normal SD size shoes? Or SD16 shoes...or do they wear the same size? The clothes for these girls are so expensive, I'm afraid to buy the wrong thing!

Thanks for answering, snowgray! Now is there a hook/ring/whatever sorta thing at the knee joints that allows for the leg parts to be swapped? /likes to be prepared before making potential-nerve-wrecking decisions XD

Starry City, the Infinitidoll girls can wear regular SD shoes in their flat feet, and some heeled SD13 shoes in their heel feet. I've had her stand successfully in SDF girl heels and SD13 heels (the Dollheart heels she is wearing in the comparison pictures). The SD16 shoes also fit well on the heel feet. She fits into the Volks Daria default shoes (the ones Daria is wearing in the comparison pictures) and into some TimeWillTell SD16 heels that I have. For clothes, it's still a tough call! I think bustiers and such will be better in SD16 size just because of the size of the Infinitidoll boobs! SD13 stuff often fits, too, if it is baggy, but it won't be long enough! The Volks Daria outfit fits, but that outfit isn't really tightly structured or anything. I am dreaming of some Sadol or Switch SD16 girl outfits, but those are a bit out of my price range at the moment!

daniquine, the Infinitidoll body doesn't have a knee-ring system like the Volks SD16. Her elastic goes all the way through her leg. To attach the flat feet, you string the elastic through her leg and hook it onto her flat-foot hook like on most BJDs. To attach the heel feet, you string the elastic through her leg (with foot attached) and hook it onto a free-floating s-hook that fits into a space in the bottom of her foot. Then you cover it with a magnetic piece. The Infinitidoll blog has pictures! It isn't too hard to change her legs out, though I have my girl strung very tightly, so I usually need my husband to help pull the elastic taut while I put in the s-hook for her heel piece! I do think it is worth it to buy both sets of legs, because the heel legs look so lovely, but they really don't fit any flat shoes. So I prefer the versatility of both types of legs!

I have two new pics to share of Miyuki. The rest are in the gallery. Sorry they look yellow ><
She is wearing the bra, panties and stockings from the lingerie set. I took only one of her in the corset. Also I ut ehr in her second wig from Leeke. The stockings stain. After I took them off of her she had black on het toes and legs. It came off with Mr Clean magic eraser. Thank goodness. These will be the last of my pics until I get her glass eyes and shoes. Hopefully next month for those. As well as a few other clothing items and a handband or two.

snowgray- I love those pink heels on your Volks SD16 Dariao . They are so cute.

    Hi all,

I love the Daffodil sculpt! I was wondering about the Infiniti girl body and resin - does it have any particular issues? How is the resin quality? I know that all companies have certain issues/limitations with their sculpts; I'd like to know what to expect from Infiniti before I order.

    Thanks!

snowgray@ Thanks for showing the size comparison between your two girls. I'm suprised to see Daffodil has such long legs compared to your sd16.

Mystical Rose@ Miyuki looks really pretty in her new wig. Sorry to hear you had a problem with her stockings staining. When I got my first doll I had a similiar problem with the black socks I purchased. I placed them in a sink of cold water and it quickly turned gray so I ran them under the faucet until I couldn't see anymore color coming out and dried them on a towel and haven't had any more problems with them staining. I don't know if that would work for you or not.

I also found this instruction for colorfasting on the web and it may help too:

Pour 1/4 cup of vinegar and 1tsp of salt into a bowl with approx 4 cups water. Drop in the articles of doll clothing. Swish 'em around a little bit until they are thoroughly saturated with the mix and let them sit for about 30 mins. Take them out, rinse them with water and a little bit of soap (hand soap will do) in the sink. Let air dry.

    serenity-Thank You >^o^<
I was actually worried since when I put the outfit on her black little fuzz comes off,but no staining from the rest of it yet,but then I am too afraid of leaving it on for too long except to take pictures. I was just glad Mr Clean got the stains off.
I will try the cold water first with the stockings then if that does not work I will try the vinegar/salt solution. Thank You for the advice about getting the dye out ^__^

Mystical Rose, that outfit is so cool! I hope you do work out the staining issue; that can be such a pain! I've soaked some of my dolly jeans in vinegar to prevent staining, so I'd second that idea. Also somewhere you said that you liked the Daria heels? If you get those for your girl, be careful! The strap on one of mine broke yesterday and the pearls went everywhere! I picked them all up but I haven't fixed the shoe yet... grrrrr!

Hi Anna. So far I have been delighted with Infinitidoll. The resin is lovely, a good pinky-white in the NS color, with a nice weight and tooth. I keep meaning to sand my girl's seams and I'll report on how that goes once I'm done! In my opinion, she is a good poser. She has double-jointed elbows, and her bust joint gives her nice flexibility in leaning forward or back. My girl can stand in her heel feet pretty stably, though I don't usually leave her alone like that! The only downside I see is that because of her heel legs, her knees are not double-jointed. You'd probably have a hard time getting her into a suwarriko pose because of the way the channel in her thighs is cut.

When I ordered from Infinitidoll, the process was easy. My girl did take the full amount of time that they listed, almost to the day, but I got her with a faceup, and an event started about two weeks after I ordered (of course!). I haven't had any issues with breaking or anything, so I haven't had to contact them about a trouble issue. The only downside that I can think of is that Infinitidoll doesn't offer extra hands for their dolls yet! I really like hands for some reason, and I'd love to have a few different pairs for my girl so I can change her pose or give her different colored manicures! But I love the way her hands are sculpted; they're much prettier than my SDF girl's hands, and about equal to my Feeple70 girl's, but with their own style. Anyway, from me Infinitidoll gets a thumbs-up all around!

snowgray, thank you for that information, it was very helpful! Though, I took the plunge and ordered Daffodil yesterday, since I love everything about her. I am very happy to hear that you are happy with the quality and posing. I can't wait to get her! I will probably end up selling the event head, as I mainly buy girls, but I guess I'll see when it gets here. In the meantime, I'd love more Daffodil spam

Mystical Rose- Wow, your girl is so gorgeous! I liked Daffodil too but gah, I had to go with Isabella

Seems like the Daffodil sculpt is dominating this thread ^^ I can't wait to mix in a little bit of my girl and I hope to see the other girls here too

Beautiful dolls, why u torture me with your expensiveness?!

Soap, I can't wait to see pictures of your Isabella. She was actually the other sculpt I was considering, but decided to go with Daffodil because I generally dislike buying dolls without seeing owner pictures. I would love to see more of Infiniti owner pictures in general, because most of their sculpts appeal to me greatly.

I recently saw a picture from Infinitdoll of Isabella's head with just her faceup, no wig nor eyes installed. I got to say her face is very pretty and it made it a lot easier to see what I would be getting.

Anna- Yes it was At the Q&A section someone asked about Isabella's default faceup and Inifinitidoll replied and attached a picture that you can download and see. The question wasn't locked so you should be able to view it.

Soap - Thanks for telling us about the picture, it was interesting seeing just her sculpt without the hair and eyes and whatnot. It strengthened my resolve in Isabella, her lips and the dreamy shape of her eyes... I LOVE!! ^^ !!
