Here's a comparison with the three types:

Thank you very much for that! I wonder why the ver. 1.1 body is not for sale separately on the BC site.

Looking at your comparison pics, I think the legs are different. V 1.1 doesn't seem to have as defined knees, the thighs are thinner and the legs are of equal length. The kicky leg issue was more a problem with stringing than with sculpting I've found - I have one bc V1 girl with original stringing and she is kicky and one who was restrung and she isn't.

My Sisley is the V 1.1 and I hate to say I love her because she's so 'chunky', so I'll just say she's delightfully curvey. Very quirky compared to other doll bodies in my opinion.

However I soooo want a BC on a V 2 body, they're so gorgeous looking.

Okay, well, I mentioned this in the previous BC thread, but my Sisley seems to have some issues holding her hands, arms and legs in various positions and I am currently *grr* over the whole matter. I mean she poses and stands/sits solid, but while the mobility is there, she just doesn't 'hold' very well. I think my Puki's have spoiled me.There's a thread on restringing BC's in the workshop forum I've been reading up on and I am preparing myself to re-string and possibly suede her.

Anyway, the worst part is that her waist won't stay forward, she always snaps back. In my investigation, I noticed she has a waist piece, like a 'floater' in her torso at the waist? Does anyone elses BC have this? I'd like to suede her shoulders, wrists, ankles and knees (not sure how that will work with the join) and was trying to figure out how to fix the waist snap she has given the piece in there, I don't really know what it does.

Does someone know if the new floral white skin from BC matches Leeke snow skin? I heard that floral white is really pink and might not be a good match...

Oh, so Leeke snow white wouldn't be a good match for BC floral white. How sad :-( Thanks for the answer!

I've never seen Leeke snow skin, so I'm not sure, but here is a picture of my Leeke Tiny head on the left and Bambicrony Judy on the right.

DancingBee, thank you so much for the picture! Floral white seems to be a really pale normal skin. It seems to be far more... flesh colored than other companies white skin.

I'm hoping to buy a BC Ciao Bella Kumi for my first bjd, but I was wondering, do BC's come with a randomized wig? or must you pay extra for your doll to come with one?

Non-fullset Ciao Bella dolls do not come with a wig, so you will need to purchase one for her. Your Kumi should wear a size 5-6 wig. Hope this helps!

Does anyone know where I can get a Bambicrony BC Marchen elf-style doll? They no longer sell them on the site. =[
Plus, I have not met the requirements quite yet to visit the marketplace.

They did sell them as standards for a while and they were supposed to be back in 2010 with a "new look"... they said the same for the human standard dolls and those came back a couple of months ago so hopefully the elf versions are still going to be coming back this year! Otherwise, you'd have to get one secondhand. But the wait to get marketplace access isn't that long at least.

Has anyone tried a 6-7" NDoll wig on one of the lovely Ciao Bellas? I found the perfect wig for my future Shy but it only comes in 6-7"
