Seems to run alright on the iTouch (iPhone). Cannot zoom in on pictures with the free version. Checking out this post on the iTouch and I really like the layout of the forums on Tapatalk. I like how I can see who is online and click on each person and check out their profiles. The available options, from what I have seen, make it worth shelling out the few dollars for it. I do have a question though... Does the paid version save your login/password information?

Aw, I wish I had any of those phones so I could try it out xD
I wonder if there could ever be a version available that can also reply to posts? Other sites must do it somehow xD

It works on the iTouch as well if you have one. It uses the same OS as the iPhone.

Excellent. I'll have a GalaxyS in another month when my current Optus plan runs out so I guess I know what I'll be doing on those long trips home from work when it arrives! Have bookmarked Tapatalk...anyone else used the Android version who can give a basic review?

I just downloaded the Read-Only mode for MyTouch 3G Slide (Android). Service is TMobile (unlimited data plan).

DoA is pretty fast, although I do suggest hooking your phone up to the charger since loading images may drain the battery life (like if you're browsing Gallery or the MP). But if you don't have a problem with battery life then disregard this little note

The app automatically "Favorites" forums you've just visited, so I didn't have to re-search it once more. Logging into DoA wasn't an issue, easy to navigate the App without a tutorial. Can access PM's, threads you've bookmarked, and browsing new threads with a single touch - really awesome when you're bored and don't have the laptop on you lol!

Now with the PayPal App, and now this App, I do believe this has become a deadly combo LOL!

As said, you cannot reply to threads on the free version nor send PM's; I may buy the full version for the said $2.99 but I will wait and see if I'll continue using it in the future

I would like to suggest downloading Advanced Task Manager (Free) so when you're done you can kill the app so it's not running in the background and drain more battery life - this goes the same with other programs that do not shut off all the way (i.e. Games or YouTube)!

I hope this review helped with any questions out there that has an Android phone ^^

Thank you kindly, Izarra. I'd noticed that the free version was read-only so I'm guessing the paid version would be the way-to-go. And yes, I can see that in conjunction with the Paypal App there is defiinately potential for deadly consequences :P

Good suggestion about Advanced Task Manager ...especially as my main use will be on the train (about a 1 1/2 to 2 hr trip to or from work for me), so big thanks there.

    Re: DoA for Mobile Users

I just got the paid version as well on my Moto Droid & it works great. I've been using the free version but forgot & kept trying to post things lol. I like the format of the app, its pretty user friendly.

I had the free one for my iPhone but quickly switched to the paid one. I really like it and I use it quite a bit! Thanks for doing this!

Well, having tried both the android version of tapatalk versus just using the DOA website via my Galaxy S i find simply going online a little better.... Tapalk seems to be a little picky when it comes to images & what it will or wont read unfortunately. Anyway, thats just what I've found.

Gonna check it out! I don't spend as much time on this site as I want to , since I only use my phone.
