The only thing I disliked was that I got hit with $80 in UPS fees Much worst than customs. Even so - I'll just be more prepared next time I order. ;D

Very good, I received notifications when they received payment, when my order was ready to ship and also when my order had shipped, complete with tracking information.

Very easy. There was a choice to pay with credit card or by Paypal, I chose Paypal.

Approximately a week.

Definitely, all the pieces are wonderful quality and they fit perfectly.

I got a order reciept and a shipping nottice when my package was shipped.

* How easy was it to pay?
Very easy with credit card.

* How long did it take to ship?
I chose USPS EMI and I got my package on the 31st of October. I did get a customs bill of 99$ from Canada Post but I did avoid brokerage fees that I would have gotten with UPS.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Saying that I was really impressed would be an understatement. Even with the customs bill I still feel like it was a good deal. Kun is perfect and the clip holder is very sturdy.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
SDG Kun looks even better in person than in the sales pictures. Especially the faceup, it looks a lot better than in the photos. The eyes were also very pretty.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Yes, very much. I was impressed with the little things like the accompanying guidebook considering I have never gotten anything remotely informative from a company when ordering a doll before and I think that it is great especially for a new owner.

Absolutely.

* How was the communication?
The customer service was absolutely golden - I'm from the UK, but I was visiting the US for a couple of weeks and asked them if they would ship to a hotel because the international site wouldn't ship some of the items I wanted (the paint thinners in their acrylic sets, I suspect.) They replied to every email promptly and very courteously, I had to provide ID/card scans etc for security purposes, but they went out of their way to make the whole process as smooth as possible.

* How easy was it to pay?
Very easy, card was charged as soon as ID was provided.

* How long did it take to ship?
Shipped the next day iirc, 16th September, arrived the following Wednesday I think, at my hotel in Disney World, hohoho.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yeah, think it was cheaper for me to order as a proxy US customer as it were, than to buy through the international site in yen + int'l shipping.

Yep.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Yeah, it's all good

Absolutely! I would like an Elena in the near future, am a bit reluctant to order from Volks int'l due to their customs declaration policies lol, but maybe if I happened to be in the US again, or knew someone who was, and Volks USA had an Elena in stock... heheh.

Yeah definitely, tends to be common practice with their dolls.

I have yet to try the face-up materials, but I'm very impressed with the quality of the eyes. For $10 acrylics, I think I like them better than the silicone eyes I ordered for over twice the price.

Yes, the eyes are a little less blue than I would have expected though.

Oh jeez, this was way back....I think they shipped it out a day after payment and it took 5 days to receive.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

Yes and no. The doll stand was sold out from Volks USA (and costs more), and I saved about 20 bucks winning it. The base is heavy and well constructed, but the metal pole is very "wanky." It's the saddle type of stand, and it can be a pain to get my Kun to balance on it, without shoes. And even with her shoes, she still doesn't stand as straight as I would like her too. Overall, the stand does it's purpose of holding Kun in place, and she looks very lovely on my desk.

Yes.

Yes and no. I like the stand, but I wish the metal pole was constructed better.

From Volks yes, but not from this seller seeing that they are not selling any SD related items at the moment.
