Very good, they let me know when they recieved payment, and gave me a tracking number promptly once the items had been shipped

It took 3 days from ordering to get to the UK, excellent. (Got held up in customs for more than week though...)

Good, they let me know when they recieved payment, and gave me a tracking number promptly once she had been shipped. However as she was from a dolpa after event there was abit of a wait between payment and shipping.
* How easy was it to pay?
Easy - paypal
* How long did it take to ship?
She took 4 days to get to the UK once she had shipped, mid feb as Volks said on the dolpa after event page. (And then sat in customs for a week or so)
* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Very good quality
* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
She looked just like the sale pics, though her wig seems a little darker. Probably just Volks lighting.
Edit: Infact, she looks better than the sale pics!

* How was the communication? Very easy---they answered all my questions helpfully and without delay

* How long did it take to ship? Volksusa.com took about 6 days UPS Ground; Volks.co.jp took about 3 days via EMS Express Mail
* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes, the price is reasonable, and Volks.co.jp had a sale on their 27cm dollfie, so that helped. ^^

Amazing, the best I have ever experienced when buying anything in my life, not only doll items.

It was far beyond appropriate. I am really in shock of the quality of these shoes, specially for the price.

There was only one of the item I wanted left in stock, but I wanted two. So they offered to take one of the pairs of shoes off a doll in their museum in Japan and sent them to me so I could get two!

Great. They answered all the questions I had (including one that just turned out to be a hold from my bank when I thought I'd been mistakenly charged twice ), and promptly let me know the status of my order.

The shipping was reasonable, but the items themselves were a bit pricey. However I couldn't find these specific items at the Art Supply Warehouse and other online doll stores that had the items in stock were trying to charge more for shipping.

Since it was a pre-order it took around 6 months to ship. Volks were good at keeping the project schedule up to date so I had a good idea that it would take this long.
