How was the communication?

How long did it take to ship?
Received on June 14th, so less than a month. They shipped it within 3 weeks.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Oh yes.

Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Definately. The doll is actually a lot better in real than on the pictures.

Were you satisfied with the product?
Oh yes. I chose the wrong boot size though, but it's my fault.

The order placed on the evening of the 14th was recieved today, 18th June...same 4 day turn around as the order placed last month ...thanks to customs here not holding things up for an extra week as they often do..wish I could guarentee deliveries would always be as fast

Great quality, especially the shoes, especially for the small price tag!

I'd say better! Again, especiially the shoes!

Most definately!

Great!
I sent through my order and immediately made a thread in Q&A to attach a picture of the custom face-up I wanted. I also made sure to specify the wig and eyes I wanted to come with the Zaoll (just to make sure that I got what I wanted). The person who answers Q&A confirmed it as all good.
Then when the item was shipped I got an email with my EMS tracking number right in it. No hoops to jump through or anything!

* How easy was it to pay?
Easy-peasy. I just sent the money directly to their Paypal account.

* How long did it take to ship?
I ordered on 5/30/15/2010. They shipped on 6/15/2010. It arrived at my house on 6/18/2010. It probably would have been there the day before if it hadn't sat in the JFK airport for 26 hours. @_@; (And that's obviously nothing to do with Dollmore or how it ships items.)

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Rather!
The expensive boots I ordered were extremely well-made. The cheap sneakers a bit less so. The resin of the doll feels nice (and very different from the resin of my other dolls). The sculpting on the features are wonderful; etc.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Nothing looked different from advertised. xD

* Were you satisfied with the product?
I'm still learning how to operate the Zaoll body. It's different from what I'm used to, but that's nothing to do with Dollmore.
There is nothing so wrong with those cheaper shoes I mentioned that is worth complaining about. xD There was a bit of glue in the toe which I probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't tried to wedge a foot that was a bit too wide for the shoe into it.

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
I've no intentions of reporting the glue problem. I don't think it's worth a fuss about. They're beautiful shoes, exactly as advertised - and if wedging a foot that is too wide into the shoes didn't make it fall apart, then they are well-constructed as well!

* Would you order from this company again?
Absolutely! I should be placing my next order this time next month.

* Would you buy this company's products second-hand?
I don't know. I'm not much on second-hand buying. But I might consider it if they ever discontinued something I wanted. Besides - they loaded me down with goodies and I love free things. >_>; I'd rather pay full price and get free things on top of it than nearly full price for something used with nothing thrown in.

Took me a couple tries to get it right - I was using Firefox & attempting to pay via Paygate - but it went through okay after that. My only complaint would be that they charged me an extra $20.00, but they said it was a fee from Paygate that they had to pay as well (or something to that effect...) and I haven't yet been back to inquire further.

* How long did it take to ship?
It was shipped about two weeks after I placed my order and arrived six days later.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Absolutely!

Almost exactly. Just what I expected.

Very satisfied ~(=w=)~ he is so lovely. I am a bit concerned that the glass eyes don't fit quite right into the eye socket but I'm sure that can be fixed.

I was in love with the clothing.
Sadly. I can not buy from them.
When ordering a blank screen confronted us, not thinking we refreshed. We payed by credit card, since paypal is nothing but problems for us.
So it placed two orders and we hadn't even payed. We got the email confirmation for that.

So I read this forum topic, and was "Ehh, We'll just mail them and sort it out."
Every email got bounced back.
Saying "recipient has reached quota".
Tried 10 hours later, Same message.

So, I'm sorry Dollmore, I will never order from you. I would highly recommend sorting out your payment system.

* How was the communication? Excellent! This is my first ever BJD, so I was of course a worry wart, they answered each of my questions on the Q&A board quickly and patiently
* How easy was it to pay? Very easy, I used paypal and they sent me the invoice within 24 hours
* How long did it take to ship? This is where I am amazed. Shipped the 29th of June, so only about 11 days since payment, and arrived promptly on the 2nd of July to New York State. A friend had to wait like, 2 months for an order placed to a US distributor. Wow.
* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Definitely! This guy is extremely well jointed right out of the box, and the face-up is absolutely amazing! The clothing seems sturdy so far, and is very well made, fits him perfectly.
* Did the item look like the sales pictures? Better, in my opinion. The coloring of the eyes/wig I requested with him (which they followed ^^) were a bit different than the pictures though. The wine red wind cut wig is more of a burgundy color rather than a natural looking red (is still gorgeous though!) and the eyes are so so so much more vivid! And of course, since I had the custom face-up, his face isn't quite the same as in the pictures, but he's still gorgeous in my opinion.
* Were you satisfied with the product? YES! YES! The only things are that the Velcro securing his wig is a bit weak on the sticky side (it came like that, and I'm sure easily fixed by applying a new piece of velcro) and there is a ton of extra string in the head, which I'll probably just end up trimming. All minor problems!

Didn't have to contact them, but I still say their communication was pretty spot on! They have an invoice way of sending payments, and I got mine within the hour I had placed my order.

Very! Used Paypal. However Dollmore has some glitches when you place your order using FireFox; after placing your order, instead of seeing a "Thank you for ordering" message, it's just a blank screen. Or order goes through, but it can be worrisome if you're paying via credit card, refresh to see if the glitch "fixes" itself, and accidentally order twice!

Ffffff omg, I'm still reeling about this! I ordered on the 20th of August and he got to me by the 2nd of September! When counting only working days, that was less than two weeks! Love Dollmore < 3

Yeeeesssss! Beautifully sculpted, few seamlines, wonderful posing, AMAZING quality clothing, and awesome service!

Dollmore is just about the only doll company that sends Paypal invoices, so you can't get any easier than that.

Order was shipped 9/4, arrived today 9/7 (would have arrived yesterday but it was Labor Day).

Yeah! I love the Model Doll clothes. The belts are very nice and the boxers are great.

I think they look better!

Very satisfied. I purchased the Model Doll clothes to fit my EID women and they do fit because both tanks were meant to fit the Model glamour bust. The boxers are better in real life than in the sales photos.

This was my fifth order and I've ordered within group orders before, so yes, I am a repeat customer.

Yes, if the owner treated the item well. The only thing I wouldn't buy second hand is Dollmore jewelry, as it does tarnish over time...
