Miela and Max got some mail today - their new clothes! I'm very happy with them. The t-shirts they got fit wonderfully, and while Max's pants are a little tight, they do fit! So yay! Here's a pic!

Those are super cute Lubelle!! Where did you get their shoes? I always have trouble finding shoes for Alex >.<

Thanks! Max's shoes are from dollb (on etsy). They are a tight fit (his feet are 2.3cm long, and the shoe's inner measurement is 2.5cm), but do work (and she's got adorable shoes for sale - 3 of the five dolls I currently have at home wear her shoes!). Miela's are Ruby Red Galleria shoes bought from Denver Doll Emporium. They are a bit loose, but they stay on, and don't look too big. I've even been able to get those ones on with socks. Both were pretty reasonably priced too!

its her favorite color ^.^ she sure has come a long way from being nakie for a really long time to having some really bad wigs. i think shes almost officially finished maybe a new face up in the future

I've been home at my mum's (DaisyLady) this weekend - and I realized that we now have half of the 1/12 sculpts between us! I snapped a picture of all four - Spearmint, Chocolate, Donut, Peppermint.

Four more to go and we will have all of them - except there is some arguing between us as to who will get which :P

Just out of curiosity, has any one else wondered why the majority of these little ones we see are Donuts and Peppermints? Some Spearmints, and a few Chocolates, but I've only seen one Cookie here, and found a couple of pics of Jelly on Flickr. No Puddings or Sodas to speak of. I know I personally thought about getting a Cookie instead of a Donut originally, but opted for Donut because there were lots of owner pictures (and since she was my first doll, I thought this was important so I would know what I was getting). Anyone else have a similar experience? Is any one considering adding one of the lesser seen sculpts to their collection?

I have a Cookie (Bug), but my Donut (Serena) has a sweeter look, so I tend to use her more for modeling and photographs.

I think it's pretty normal that a few sculpts are much more popular than others- it definitely happens in other threads too. The popular ones all seem to me to have somewhat neutral expressions- maybe we just find them easier to make into a character/play with?

Also, I redid Nymph's face-up... I think it's an improvement, but keep in mind this is the first doll I've faced-up (?). I've added a tiny bit more lip color and blush since the pic, though. I think I'll leave her alone for a while, and try to obtain a practice head when I've got some time to work on it (I'm back to school now )


edit: I've redone the faceup (again...) and gotten her a new wig, but if you want to see you'll have to post!

Nymph is really cute, Dara! I'm working on Halloween costumes for my two (Max's is almost done), so there should be some spam of that soon. I really want to do a big elaborate photo story of the twins trick or treating for Halloween - my lati yellow vampire is looking forward to giving them a scare!
