Your Byurl is very sweet, I love her little smile. <3 I think the body match turned out really well, perfect size and everything. The only reason I don't invest in latis is because of the lack of a jointed torso, so this looks really nice as a hybrid.
The hands are a little weird, it'd be nice if they made other hand sets, wouldn't it? Like fists and grabbing hands.

Lian Rong was ALMOST my first doll... I ended up getting an Elfdoll Mir <3 off ebay first...
Yeah, they have such pretty sculpts, I'm surprised they're not that popular. Maybe as they make more dolls, they are relatively new and Lati has been around for such a long time.

I think a fair amount of Lati owners often hybrid with Jaime doll bodies due to the jointed torso. I think Lati could improve their bodies, the recent 'improvements' haven't been greatly successful. They do have such cute head sculpts though!! Cookie is very pretty though, I hadn't actually looked at her before this

Yeah, didn't they just change the size? I figure that would make everyone unhappy! I don't own any dolls yet, but when I look at Lati bodies, at least their tinies, they look a little weird. A jointed torso would be a great edition, I know I'd buy one if they changed the bodies a little.

*sigh* Why did I take a look at the link above? I took ONE look at Cookie and her character, wig, eye color etc. just appeared in my mind. Even her name is there. This really doesn't happen to me with lots of dolls. I think I have to add this little cutie to my wish list.

I was looking for him (having seen him on blogs) and thinking "OOoooh he's so shiny, but spendy! I'll have to save FOREVER..."
Then I found him on ebay with the description that the owner wasn't bonding with him and he "wasn't getting along" with the girls. <I suspect the reality was that they were all fighting over him.> So I ended up getting a practically new dude, 2nd hand, for much less than buying him straight from Elfdoll.
Lian will get scooped up Eventually, but he's ended up with a lil' sis also from Elfdoll and Rainman, and a hybrid watsit, elf girl <friend was selling her...and well.>.
It's kinda odd how my "collection" has grown after thinking "I'm happy with my guy..."

... I just bought a Cookie. After seeing the pictures on flickr.com I totally fell in love with her. I think I will receive her next week, because the European sales agent had some Cookies in white skin with face-up in stock.
