Has anyone had problems with this ebay seller?

I bought an adorable wig from the eBay seller, dottiestore, about a month ago, I paid immediatly with paypal and here I am a month later with no wig! I know stuff from Hong Kong sometimes takes a few weeks, but this is rediculous! I've never had to wait for anything for this long from Hong Kong! I e-mailed them and they said they didn't mail it out right away because they were busy with doll shows, but they have mailed it out. How much longer should I wait? Should I report the item not sent now, or wait a bit longer? I noticed they have quite a few negs and neutrals for long waits.... Ack!! I should have checked thier feedback before buying from them!

You should have it in a few days to a week. This seller is rather notorious for not mailing items until you contact her in frustration...?

Same here. I bought shoes and it took almost 2 months and a few progessively angered emails to get my stuff sent. This seems to always be the case with this seller. The good news is that people are usually happy with the item and do eventually get it. It's the waiting time that is so bad.

Yes, well known for the wait. I emailed once a week or so (didn't want to be too pushy) , with the last email kindly requesting a shipment date in case I needed to notify my post office of a lost / stolen package. I then got a response it was shipped the week before and rec'd it a few days after I think. All in all, about a month or so to get the item. I got positive feedback, which suprised me a bit since I almost felt pushy about it. heh

It was a good item, as described, and a good deal for the price. I knew ahead of time what kind of wait was involved, so it was a little easier to deal with.

Oh, good, I feel better. =) I just e-mailed them about a week ago, so maybe it will be here soon. If not, I'll try e-mailing them again. I'm glad to know it will be good quality, too! ^_^

I bought a dress from her and it took over a month to arrive. It's a gorgeous dress, though. She didn't reply to emails either.

I'm currently into an over a month wait for some Blythe eyechips.
After looking at her feedback, it seems that the loooong wait is pretty normal.

Needless to say I won't be ordering from them again. -_-;

Dottie's store is notoriously slow, but they DO always come through.

It once took about 7 weeks for a pair of sneakers I ordered, to arrive from them.

Yes, I've dealt with them once. On the ebay auction that I won, they said they'd ship next day after payment. I payed as soon as I won the auction and waited 2 weeks w/o word or the shoes I bought. I finally emailed them and they said they had already shipped them out. When I finally got my package about a month after I paid, I read the date of shipment on the package, and it was the date that I emailed them. >_< So yes, you really should email them and keep at them until they ship out your parcel.

I really do find this kind of odd. I've actually bought from dottiestore three seperate times now. And all three times my items arrived within a week of my purchase and payment. It's strange how I seem to be the minority and have never had a problem, specially when the odds of having the huge delays would seemingly increase with the more purchases I made.

One question about the late parcels I wonder what date was postmarked on them?

I don't think I have ever seen a post made saying they never recieved their items or got ripped off by her so hold in there! it will come

I bought a Pullip from her in September...Jun Planning Chicca...I STILL have yet to recieve her. I emailed her after 3 weeks of waiting, several times. Finally she responded saying her staff must have sent the doll to another buyer, and that she would resend her again. This was in October. I emailed her again last week asking where she is, as I have yet to see her. No reply. I paid $113 total for this doll, and she seems to be AWOL. I am none to please at the current moment.

i bought some shoes from her, it wasn't exactly quick shipping, i'd say 2 or 3 weeks. but the shoes got here without me having to email her. the items come from hong kong by airmail, so that could attribute to a slightly longer shipping time.

I had order form her back to Oct 16th as of today nothing arrive, I think I had wait enough time.......I am out of luck that I had order thing form her and the other Taiwan seller, both item never show up, I had already filed a claim with Paypal about dottiestore.....when I first email her in November dottiestore claim she just back from doll show,said she will mail out my item, than last week I email again and she said:

hello dear buyer,
sorry for the late reply for the personal emergency. i have left my local for more than 3 weeks. I asked my staff to mail the item out, but the new labels we used for shipped got some problem so many parcels are returned because of losing the shipping address. We have shipped them again in these two days. i am so sorry for the accident made. you should recieve the item very soon.
