… and finally not to spam this thread only with my personal fun, I got a little bit time to do something with the pictures I took a while ago, so here come my 2c.

LS doll normal yellow + Dikadoll 1/3 boy hands (ver.2) normal yellow.
- size match: no issue
- color match: The LS NY is a bit pinker than the DK NY.




Just to clarify one thing, the last photo shows the difference bigger than it is in reality. Not sure exactly why, but when taking a photo, the body gets pinker and the DK hands whiter/yellower (depends on the light). Well, maybe I should learn a bit more about the camera setup.
Nevertheless, decent hands’ blushing would make the match better, but I am not bothered by it in present.

Awesome! Sven says, 'Hi' back. And wishes the daylight hours were longer so I'd take more photos. I think I did get him to stand on one leg, at least for a bit. I also got him to do some other really neat poses that he wouldn't duplicate once I got out the camera.

He really is a lot of fun. I'm so pleased with how easy he is to pose, and how solid the body feels. It reminds me a lot of my very first doll, a tiny, who's still my best poser, although Sven may prove competition for her.

I have a question (and I posted this in the news thread as well - but figured I should ask here too) - does LSoul's tan color match well with other companies, specifically, ResinSoul's tan?

I LOVE the JingLing sculpt for one of my characters, but his wife will be on a 70cm body, so I'd like him to be at least 70cms as well - and the default JingLing body is only 62 cm. I was hoping to put him on a 70cm tan RS body.

Any input is very welcome!

Here are the standing-on-one-leg photos. It was a bit challenging to balance him at the beginning, but once I leaned how, it was not that difficult and he could hold the position. (Apologies, these are still from the old batch photos where he was just out from the box).

I like the new heads too. If they are not LE, and they seem not, we may be able to order them separately like the current ones.

Pannytheangel, I'm totally with you. I was planning to get a Leeke Mihael head and put it on a Loongsoul body... but I may just be a full Loongsoul convert XD

Lol! xD I was planning on getting a full Loongsoul set to begin with (cheaper, I'm pretty sure) and was going to order within this week or so. Now, however...I think I'll wait until they officially release Yefei and Yesha. @_@ They're beautiful.

I was right, they are the new boys. @.@ Yefei and Yesha are so nice I think I want one of them or...both. Definatley an improvement over thier other heads, which we're really nice but a bit ametuer looking.

If you order till March 15 (if I remember correctly?), you can get one head extra. Or extra outfit or other stuff... there are 3 options.
But I'm not sure when the new guys will be available.

Tsukasa - I agree on the girl bodies! I hope they have the same amazing articulation and great look to them as the boys do. I won't be ready to get my girl doll (planning to get her third) for a long while, but while I love Dollstown's heads I'm not exactly sure about how stiff the torsos look on the 13girl bodies :/ And I'm sure I'll already be spoiled by Loongsoul by then XD

According to the article they're a Chinese New Years release, so I'm hoping they'll be released this weekend or next week at latest. *crosses fingers*

And the free head is random, so I'm not sure if I can just request one. >> I think I'll PM Catas or MintonCard next week and see...

Oooh, I love the sculpt photos in the interview. I'm also glad to learn that they're working on 70cm and female bodies. If they are engineered to the same level as the boy bodies, I'll definitely get one.

I could tell that LoongSoul has a lot of pride in their dolls, from the way my Xuanyan came so carefully packaged, and there was even a very nice enameled company keychain included (with his model# engraved on the back.) One thing I really like about collecting BJD is how precious the dolls are to some of the people who make them, and those are the creators and companies I prefer to buy from.

I hope the interview was right in that it's a Chinese New Years release...'cause if that's the case, they should come out anytime now, since Chinese New Years was yesterday. >_<

@Pannytheangel: it seems like a LOT of Chinese companies close for about a week for Chinese New Year festivities, which would be the week we're in right now. :X I'm totally excited to see YeSha and YeFei's actual release, but I'm not going to bank on it happening before this weekend at the earliest. I hope they release them before the 15th of March so ordering one will qualify the order for the New Year event going on
