    2. Is this a Resinsoul doll?

The photography, sculpt, eye colour, faceup and even the absence of eyelashes is distinctly Resinsoul.

    3. Hi,
Her sculpt is by gardenofdolls, and she will have eye lashes applied by me individually when they are shipped. It is manufactured by BBB, so the skin tone is the same.

    4. Here's a better picture of facing forward with elf ears. Do any of you think the ears can be a bit longer or just right?

    5. I think the ears are just right. I like that they are low and going up; it will be easier to fit wigs than on dolls with ears set back. Her ears remind me a bit of Bobobie's first elf, Pixie, which I got only a few weeks ago and LOVE. I also have Ju, who has long long ears sitting quite far back; wigs are a challenge on her.

I do think it's good to have elf ears that can be seen through wigs. Have you tried wigs on the head to see if the ears are visible? I.e., would they poke out a bit on a long straight wig, for example?

    6. Yes, you can. But Bobobie's light tan is not as dark as some other companies' tans. When I said the tan looks "normal" to me - I meant human normal. It's about my own skin color. I think the tan is a nice warm skin color -- and it's tan clear through, no worries about the color disappearing, chipping, etc.

    7. Hi Anita,
You requested about the wigs on elf ears before. Here's the answer I got from the factory, that wigs fit well, with no problem (view pic). By the way, I may have to redo all three of my top default pictures on my website. It just does not look like her real self. I just don't want to misrepresent. These pictures show how her face is very well:

Oh, I'm so mad at myself for misrepresenting Nabiya default pics.:...( They didn't look like her before, because of lighting for some reason. I just took these in morning light by my window. Very clear now:

    8. Hmmm, maybe a little too much hair there <g>. But yes, those ears are quite workable with wigs; you can either show the ears or not.

Just FYI, the portrayal I like best on your Web site is the Nabiya with the long brown hair and brown dress on. She has a nice brow and that entire "look" seems to suit her.

If Bobobie is doing the basic faceup, I wouldn't think your photographs are that far off. I have eight various Bobobie-cast dolls and while the faceups vary a bit depending on the designer, they have a common basic style. They're easy to enhance (if you want more drama) and eyelashes really bring them to life.

    9. Thank you very much

Now a lot of pictures to show you my most beautiful doll !!!

    10. Hi Stella,
Take a look at Kameo's photos above. Light tan is very pretty just like that. My photos came out too dark. You seem to be gearing toward the tan if that helps. By the way, the second photo there looks like the knee just needs adjustment. It'll pop right back in the leg with no problem..lol.

    11. I finally got around to taking some pictures of my little beauty. Her name is Emma (she chose that name). I just did a short photo story about her here:
      http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=339468

The lighting was not so great- I was chasing it late in the afternoon.

      Sweet face!

      Poses really well.

Stands right out of the box with no restringing or sueding!

I love this doll- she is SO charming!

    12. Me too. I think Emma is adorable cirquemom. Her eyes are very pretty, what size are they?

    13. Thank you! I think she's adorable too! I don't know what size eyes they are- they were the default ones. The default eyes are really nice. Normally I replace my doll's eyes, but these just seemed perfect so I left them in. I *think* they may be a size 14?

    14. I like the eyes in your tan fairy up there. Those are 12mm, right? I've been looking for brown eyes and have a question - are round eyes fitting okay in her head? Not interfering with S-hook?

    15. Hi Anita,
Yes, those are 12mm glass eyes. 12mm glass eyes seem to be the best size for glass eyes. (do not get 14mm glass eyes..they are too big). It's strange, but I bought some 12mm acrylic eyes as well, and they're slightly smaller than the 12mm glass eyes, so in acrylic eyes, 14mm acrylic eyes fit well. By the way, those are not brown eyes, but dark purple eyes. Because Nabiya is light tan, it looks brownish I guess. Got them here:
      http://www.mintoncardinc.com/dolls/item_details.php?BJD=323&name=12mm+Eyes-+Dark+Purple&cat=30
For example, here are two fairies that I previously did. The left one is wearing 12mm light purple glass eyes, and right is wearing 12mm acrylic eyes:

    16. oh no... Nabiya wears 6/7. Her head circumference is 6 3/4"

    17. I love the blonde. :D Are they both on NS bodies? They're a bit pinker than I thought they would be...

    18. Hi,
Yes, they're both normal skin. One looks a bit more pinkier in the picture because of the pink dress she's wearing...I think the colors reflect each other on camera. Well, I just compared them to real life Nabiya, and the photo on both girls came out a bit pinkish.

      Loofthewood,
I'm glad you found Nabiya dolls! If you add slight more enhancement / lip blush on her lips, you can make her lips more plump. I'm doing a Valentines faceup on her, and her lips look luscious heartshape.

    19. Oh ok, so they're not that pink in real life? The photos on the site showed them to be closer to yellowish. :)

    20. Madame Bunni,
She is a bit pinkier than other companies...such as, I'm comparing it to Leeke head I just received with Minoruworld doll body, and Leeke & Minoru are definately yellow tone, so compared to them, Nabiya is pinkier tone. I hope I'm not confusing you.
