    Is this a Resinsoul doll?

The photography, sculpt, eye colour, faceup and even the absence of eyelashes is distinctly Resinsoul.

    Hi,
Her sculpt is by gardenofdolls, and she will have eye lashes applied by me individually when they are shipped. It is manufactured by BBB, so the skin tone is the same.

I definitely like the elf ears. Ready to order whenever you get them!!! I've been looking for a unique elf-ear sculpt, particularly in a slimmer mini.

I like the added eyeliner that you did on the girls, makes the eyes stand out more. Going to have to get me one of the tan ones (I wanted a Nabi Kiss but never had the money to get one ) Not going to miss out on this girl

    elf ears !

Here's a better picture of facing forward with elf ears. Do any of you think the ears can be a bit longer or just right?

  11. #11
I think the ears are just right. I like that they are low and going up; it will be easier to fit wigs than on dolls with ears set back. Her ears remind me a bit of Bobobie's first elf, Pixie, which I got only a few weeks ago and LOVE. I also have Ju, who has long long ears sitting quite far back; wigs are a challenge on her.

I do think it's good to have elf ears that can be seen through wigs. Have you tried wigs on the head to see if the ears are visible? I.e., would they poke out a bit on a long straight wig, for example?

I couldn't resist these lovely little dolls any longer! Somehow my finger wandered over to the BUY IT button......so a tan Nabiya will be joining my family in the Doll House!

I got home tonight after being down in the Bay Area taking care of my daughter (relapse of the swine flu) and found a box with my Nabiya in it!!!!
She is OMFG BEAUTIFUL!!! Honestly, I can not stop looking at her adorable face. She is so delicate and beautiful and has a ton of personality and charm. I could not be happier with her. Also- that body is VERY nice. It poses really really well, right out of the box, she stands very confidently, and her hands are gorgeous.
She is such a little sweetheart- honestly- what a great doll! I will post pix tomorrow when I recover a bit from my trip.
Thank you so much Ashley for a beautiful sculpt and your super-fast service!

    Hi AnitaS,
Yes, you cannot go wrong with either colors, I've just got an email from one of the coordinators for IDEX, and they think the skin tones are the loveliest they've seen...so you can't go wrong with either light tan or normal. You can definately tell the difference in two though.

    Hi betsyhoneyvenom,
I'm waiting for few answers from teh factory, and as soon as we're in production, and get the approximate ship date, I will take preorders on elf. Thank you!

Yes, you can. But Bobobie's light tan is not as dark as some other companies' tans. When I said the tan looks "normal" to me - I meant human normal. It's about my own skin color. I think the tan is a nice warm skin color -- and it's tan clear through, no worries about the color disappearing, chipping, etc.

    Hi Anita,
You requested about the wigs on elf ears before. Here's the answer I got from the factory, that wigs fit well, with no problem (view pic). By the way, I may have to redo all three of my top default pictures on my website. It just does not look like her real self. I just don't want to misrepresent. These pictures show how her face is very well:

Oh, I'm so mad at myself for misrepresenting Nabiya default pics. They didn't look like her before, because of lighting for some reason. I just took these in morning light by my window. Very clear now:

Hmmm, maybe a little too much hair there <g>. But yes, those ears are quite workable with wigs; you can either show the ears or not.

Just FYI, the portrayal I like best on your Web site is the Nabiya with the long brown hair and brown dress on. She has a nice brow and that entire "look" seems to suit her.

If Bobobie is doing the basic faceup, I wouldn't think your photographs are that far off. I have eight various Bobobie-cast dolls and while the faceups vary a bit depending on the designer, they have a common basic style. They're easy to enhance (if you want more drama) and eyelashes really bring them to life.
