Teh eyes are a bit big for the tiny imo. She just got sent out for a new face up yesterday. It should not take too long.

Oh, I guess I have to wait a bit longer, hmm? What kind of changes is she getting with the new face up?

    Have a wonderful day

I wanted her to look a bit more gentle than her old faceup had some chips in it that I don't even know how they got there. Hopefully it goes well because I would like for all of my dolls to get done by the same face up artist.

Yes he is cute, but he is off topic for this thread. This thread is for the 44 to 46 cm ones, your little one is on topic for the tiny thread, http://www.denofangels.com/forums/sh...-Part-2/page10 .

I am thinking of getting a Emma in yellow skin and have a few questions. Are the newest dolls as shiny as the resin samples up on mint on card? Are they realy as tall as they say they are? Mainly because I want to pair her off with an old angel of dream boy and I want her to be shorter than him. Has anyone tried requesting a wig and eye colors from the company or given face up requests? It would be awesome if i could get useable items for my doll plans.

My girl is about 8 months old and yes she is shiny. It seems that sealing them does help a bit though as long as you are sure to use matte sealant and to use it properly. Also, they are as tall as they say, I think Cora is about 44.5 cm. Also, a small warning about the company faceups, in my experience they are extremely delicate and chip very easily. I'm not sure about the requests though as Cora was instock at DenverDoll when I got her.

Here's what I mean by the chipping, I barely touched her face but it chipped off of her cheek, her nose and her chin.

Thanks snow I am thinking of sending her off for customization when she gets here any way to get her arm scars so I may skip the face up and get her blank. I am hoping a non factory face up will be a bit more durable.

So am I, lol. She actually out for one right now. I should be getting the pictures tomorrow morning at the latest. Hopefully she gets to my house or dorm by Saturday. Also, If am planning on giving her a blushing once I get her head back so I will tell you if it helps with the shininess.

I need to find the right artist. My Emma is suposed to be a mad scientist who is happy and determined. Finding smiling msd molds is hard as heck so I want to make her work.

I can't wait to see how she turns out, she certainly sounds like an interesting character. I should have pictures of my girls new faceup tomorrow. Having her delivered to my home address so my Grammie, who adores my dolls, can see how she turned out.

Stella, I have a pink Emma and a yellow Ji and neither one is shiny. But they came without face ups, too. I got mine from DDE and requested normal eyes and that blue and green were my favorite. They said they would see what they could do. I got one blue pair and one green pair. So you can try at DDE, but I don't know about MOC.

Snow you are lucky to have a grammie who adores your dolls. I was lucky to have a grammie that taught me to knit and crochet. Oh, and I have a couple sweaters she knit for Barbie. But I don't think she was really into dolls.

Can't wait to see your Cora when she comes home with her new face up.

Have a great day and take care

Thanks Goldie I was wondering if the shiny was something that only happens under certain lighting conditions. Kind of like how my dz dimi's smile can be down right creepy at the wrong angles. I am glad to hear about the eyes tho because even if they don't work in the long run it will be nice to have temps in the right color.

Hello everyone! I'm trying to find some shoes/dresses to fit my Elva and was wondering what brands have worked for others. Specifically I'm looking at outfits from Angel Studio's 1/4 size and Dollmore's MSD size. Has anyone tried these on a 5SD mini? I know that Iplehouse JID clothes are too big and Iplehouse JID shoes are too small if that helps.

Hi Everyone! I feel like I haven't been on this forum in forever. (Stupid college.) Any way I just want to share that while at target I found these clothes for dolls called "Heart 4 Heart" that fit the A body perfectly except for the height (the sari is supposed to floor length but is knee length).

Here's Nami (5SD Emily) wearing the outfit.
    Have: Nami (5stardoll Emily)
Saving for: Chin Ho (Doll Chateau Colin)

ankhensepnamun, it's been a while so I'm not sure if this would still be helpful, but I recently got some shoes from Angell-Studio and I'll say the fit might be dicey. For example, my Chu's feet can fit into these shoes [link], but the strap is a bit too short to reach/clasp. These boots [link] can just barely squeeze in and be zipped up, but I noticed that the zip for one of the boots 'split apart' in the middle later, probably from being a bit too tight. It was an easy fix to unzip and rezip though, so I'm happy with them.

I bought a couple pairs of MSD shoes from Dollmore ages ago--a pair of sneakers and some girly pink shoes. I tried them both on my Chu and they fit quite well.

I got my Chu from a friend, after she decided to move up in size to the SD range, so I never did much research on 5stardolls before. Since I got her, I was wondering about the waist joints in the girl body, and if anybody else has difficulty with keeping it upright and positioned? I also find it impossible to have her standing in any kind of natural position, and I've sueded all her joints. Sueding the waist joint helps a lot, but I've found it also rubs off easily and doesn't fix the problem completely.

    Thanks for any help,
    <3 ali
