Now that I'm feeling calmer I finally opened my Paypal dispute.

This is not to intimidate her, I'm doing it to protect the money I'm owed and give the transaction more time for the refund to be issued.

I haven't received a response and I filed a claim. The way you've worded your statement seems very much like a threat that you won't repay anybody who hasn't bothered you about it, and that makes absolutely no sense. You're not doing us a favor by repaying us, you're returning what is rightfully ours which you outright stole. It doesn't matter what you spent it on, you know - even if you did spend it on your family, you still took other people's money without their permission or knowledge. That's theft.

So besides the "few who sent you claims" (which apparently excludes me), is everybody else going to get their money back? Or are you going to be selfish and keep whatever you can?

I had a lot of faith in you before it came up that you had spent the money. I defended you to Rinoa quite a bit. At this point, though, I feel disgusted with myself for having done that; you haven't earned that.

I just wanted to add (sorry if I'm not supposed to post here..) that karma_kannibal joined my Sadol GO back in April.
I got the news about our order being shipped, so I asked her to pay for her portion since she hadn't yet.
Invoice was sent on the 26th, but she didn't pay. I paid for her portion of the GO with my money because that's what I usually do if a participant doesn't pay on time.
Plus I didn't realize that she didn't pay until yesterday because I had enough money in my paypal balance to begin with.
I PMed everyone to let them know about invoices and I've been updating the GO thread, which means she had plenty of time to let me know that she can't pay for her invoice.
She owe me a little over $100.
karma_kannibal, please remember to pay me back along with these other members here.

Just adding in I sent Karma_Kannibal $114.40 on 4/11/2009. I would have posted earlier, but I am very busy with school and looking for a new job and was not aware of the situation until today. Turns out paying promptly has bitten me since I am a few days too late to file a paypal claim.

FYI the economy excuse will get no sympathy from me. I've lost my job since giving you my $114 (due to budget cuts, aka the economy), which by the way, I had to work pretty hard at saving. I am now trying to support myself and two small children on a very small amount of unemployment. So yeah, please give me back my $114 asap as I can buy a lot of groceries for my children with it. Oh by the way, I'm not asking for your sympathy, just letting you know that my family is struggling too. You are not the only one with problems right now, and if your family is really that bad off you should have sold off your dolls to pay rent rather than spending our doll money. I would have had much more sympathy for your situation if you had simply said you were overwhelmed and dropped out as GO leader and hadn't lied about ordering the dolls. And if you hadn't purchased other things, as it appears you have. In fact, if you had simply said you were too busy to run the order and refunded our money promptly, I would not have been the least bit mad at you, as I was not mad with the last GO leader who had to drop out, but refunded all money promptly.

Since I cannot file a paypal claim, I will be filing a police claim on Tuesday morning in an attempt to regain my lost money which has apparently been stolen by you. If you wish to avoid this, then refund me before then. I am giving you until Tuesday so you can go to the bank on Monday if need be to deposit funds. If paypal is too difficult for you to deal with, I will accept a USPS money order. I think I am being excessively generous in this offer to you.

This is absolutely a scam -- an advance fee loan scam. I hope you haven't already paid their fee, because if you have you'll probably never see that money again.

If you google the name "Felix Brown" you find a bunch of spam messages on forums and Yahoo!Answers offering people loans. It's about as non-legit-seeming as it can get.

I think it is very telling that other people here have also checked the guy out.... and have found him to be a scam.

I'm sorry, but if you ignore what everyone here has posted, then you will get no sympathy at all when you get scammed by this guy.

My advice right now is to approach your bank for a loan if you have to get one (much more reliable), or maybe tell your family what you did, and ask their help in refunding people seeing as they benefitted from your dishonesty.

I've suggested she try a more reliable way, such as the bank.

I'm still waiting on any response from karma to my paypal claim, which is sitting at "awaiting other party's response" and has been for the better part of a week. I've heard that she's contacted other people involved, but she hasn't contacted me yet.
