i ordered a Yue Lin doll, and she came with a free gift head of my choice, i chose Chin Yi

2) when did you order:
i ordered on 5/16/09, the doll was shipped on 5/20/09

did you buy direct from the company or from a distributor:
as the website was still under construction, i bought from a distributor here on the forum

how was the communication:
excellent

how did you make the payment:
i sent a credit card payment through paypal

how long did it take to receive the doll:
the doll shipped on 5/20/09 i received the doll on 5/23/09 "3" days total

was the quality appropriate for the cost of the doll:
yes, most definitely, theses dolls are very reasonably priced for the quality that you get, and the service provided

what kind of sales photos were there:
the photos showed the dolls finished with face up and clothes, and also blank and nude. the shots provided also showed both full length, posing shots, and close up.

were you satisfied with your purchase:
most definitely..... i was happily surprised with my purchase from a virtually unknown company

would you order from them again:
without the slightest hesitation

ok, so a little personal review:

i was unsure about ordering a POPO doll, as i could not find any reviews, or even owner pics, but i ordered anyway based on the promo photos, and the event specials. my customer service experience was perfect, and i felt reassured in ordering from this company. the order was placed immediately, the doll was shipped promptly, arrived in perfect condition, in lightning fast speed. i am very impressed with the overall quality of their product, the doll, and the gift carry bag as well. the resin is a good quality, heavy, smooth, and matte finish, no seams or rough spots showing. the doll is very steady on it's feet, and poses easily, holding the poses well.

i would not have any reservation about ordering from POPO doll.

Personal review
Couldn't ask for better service. I've waited up to 4 months for other companies to ship their dolls and Popodoll shipped in 3 days with full faceup despite warning me there could be a 25 day delay.

The faceup is FANTASTIC, immaculate and the eyes were glass and the inner ears blushed (as I bought a VERY long eared elf).

The packaging was great and sunniezg PM'd me as soon as he was shipping with my tracking number. I would not hesitate to recommend this company, it will go very far with a bit of support from members willing to take a risk on a new company and their products, you wont be disappointed!!

I am very pleased with the customer service provided by sunniez the company rep and with the quality of the doll I received e.g All seams sanded, nicely detailed sculpt with tons of personality, nice heavyweight resin, great poseability etc.), the care of the packaging, and the professionalism involved with the entire transaction.

This was one of the best doll purchases I have experienced yet.

I was shocked with her faceup. Honestly, I expected to like it, but I didn't expect it to be SO delicate and professional. She isn't just airbrushed, she has exquisite detail on the level of DOD's faceups. Tiny eyebrow hairs, eyelashes...the spots/line on her mouth aren't as dark as the sample pictures. And yes, her ears are blushed! And removable. They sit in the head by way of pegs that seem to hold very securely.

All in all, this was a fabulous purchase, and I have no regrets at all. <3

What I really want to point out is that the doll is absolutly wonderful. Non my other dolls has a so agile body.

I didnt. See, they forgot to make the doll. They said they would and that they would send it out later. The second shipmets (from the august/september orders) did not include my doll. It is now December. I have cancelled my order, and as sweet as MoC is, they have refunded my payments.

Honestly? I would have considered it if after all of this my doll was in the last shipment. But between them taking forever to answer emails, forgetting to MAKE a doll, and not shipping my doll as soon as they could... no. No I will not order from them again. I don't want to sound bratty, but if a company forgets to make a doll from JULY, I feel it should be a little more prioritized.

Oh, absolutely! His faceup looked exactly like the promo pics, I couldn't find a single seam on him, he's strung juuuust right, arrived without damage, and poses like a dream!

The ones jeeryama had up on her listing were pretty much all close-ups, but showed the finished doll with a wig, clothes, and faceup, with jointed hands.

9) Were you satisfied with your purchase?
Most definitely. I was a bit wary, with him being my first BJD and all, but he's excellent. <3

Probably! They did a wonderful job.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Very good quality for the price. Beautifully sanded seams, great face-up (very close to promo style), gorgeaus sculpting on the body as well as head. Nude doll did not come with eyes or lashes. Body functions great, apart from the legs. Knees and thigh joint allow for less movement than I would have expected, but other ways great.

yes, she was packed very good and the resin is also a nice quality. Was a bit disappointed though there wasn't any free gift after such a long wait.

Well, the promos don't have a good quality; to my mind she looks a bit different but I like her very much anyway.

Yes, but I still have to learn how to handle her, she doesn't stand very well and tends to fold like a pocket knife.
