OMG I love the new boy!

But I agree with you, Arianne02, there is something strange in his face up and stlying making him look a bit drag queen >_<

Anyone else think Antonio looks like he's in a snit----that was the firt thing that came to mind---a drag queen in a snit. It's a lovely sculpt, but I don't like the styling or the way they have him posed.

I think he's a handsome guy- I also am not crazy about the outfit or posing. His face is so strong, I'd love to see him in a "manly" outfit. I really like the face sculpt though. Actually, Dream Realm is not a company I'm familiar with, but after looking at the heads on that site- they are really nice. I love how realistic and masculine they are.

His frilly jumpsuit isn't doing much for me, either. I actually like the glam faceup, but a true drag queen would surely choose a more flattering costume. I think he'd be more suited to some vaguely aristocratic/fantasy suit and a dark wig.

I like Dream Realm's face sculpts. They are a little strange, but strange in a way that I find attractive.

Kogepan - I agree that the sculpts seem a little....strange and unusual. I have Rad. Coreco and once I got him in my hands, I noticed that his features are not exactly delicate - very strong nose, very deep set eyes, very full lips. I wasn't sure if I was going to keep him, but he is growing on me everyday and i'm glad to have him. (pic of him in my album if anyone want's to see him)

I really do think Antonio has a fabulous nose, in an over the top kind of way

I've *never* been particularly interested in dolls over 60cm, or the more realistically sculpted dolls, but OH MY GOD these 70cm guys are... incredible. Absolutely love them! Rad.Coreco is on my wishlist right now.

Anyone know if there is a way to get the doll with faceup, but not as a fullset? I'm certainly not complaining about the extra $200 for getting SO much, I just know I would be going a very different route with the costuming and so on, and every little bit saved truly is a help.

I love Antonio and Xiao Chi. I wish they would sell them with make-up but without the outfits, as well. I think the face up on Antonio is AWESOME. I like Xiao Chi's outfit but don't like anything about Antonio's except the jewelry, wig, and walking stick. Is it just my imagination or does he have a tooth sticking out on one side? For a sec I thought he was a vampire......I'm guessing the furniture fits them? I love the concubine couch.

I'm coordinating with Li Wei about how he wants to do this as well as working on upgrading the website a bit. I'll be talking with him tonight and will have an answer for folks tomorrow evening.

We're also working on an order schedule with him to make sure that he doesn't take more orders than he can fill in a reasonable time. We don't want anyone ordering a doll and receving it a month or more later. I'll have updates from him soon.

i myself have my eye on Antonio. kogepan: that is exactly how i was thinking of dressing him. i bet that i could do his creator and dream realm proud with my costuming abilities. if he had hooves to fit in with my 'mini-herd', well, i would have already pushed the 'buy' buttons .

i am a little confused on the pricing of the dolls. Antonio, or any other 70 cm doll, with 'no makeup' (and no clothes or additional things) is: $450 http://www.drbjd.com/productinfo_eng.asp?ID=388 . A 'unclothed doll' ( no makeup, no clothes or additional things) is $390. http://www.drbjd.com/productinfo_eng.asp?ID=350

Also: please work on pricing the 'unclothed Antonio' and the 'additional face paint' option. I am really liking his face the way it is painted. blank plus face up is really the way i would like to go. If the pricing could get 'straightened out' it would help me make my 'ordering decision'.

Thanks Cat, here's my Rad! I love this wig that I found on ebay for him - as soon as it was on, it clarified his personality to me which up until then had been a little hazy. Currently he is known as 'The Bishop'. His storyline is still a work in progress..... I think getting my hands on Antonio is a MUST!!
