Paging Sixfried - RESOLVED
I recently purchased a modified flat chested Soom Gena from Sixfried on layaway.
I made my first payment of $277.50 on March 17th. At this point she was very responsive pming almost every day to ask where the payment was, even though I told her exactly which dates I would make payments on. I figured it was no big deal, making a transaction of such high prices is stressful for both parties.
My second and final payment of $277.50 was made on April 1st. I recieved a pm on the 7th from her confirming that she recieved the payment and letting me know she would ship the doll out that week. On the 9th, in response to one of my pm's she lets me know she will ship Gena on Friday of that week (the 11th).
This is where things start to get a bit fuzzy. I pmed her on the 15th asking if she had shipped, if I could have the tracking number on the package, and how long she thought it would take for Gena to get here. On the 17th she pmed me back saying she has the tracking number but has to search for it. She tells me the package should take 3-5 days to get to me BUT she says her post office is having a strike and she doesnt know when the doll will be shipped out. She informs me she will send me the tracking number tommorrow (the 18th).
That was the last I have heard of her. No tracking number. No doll. Not even a pm to let me know what is up, even though I KNOW thanks to her account that she has signed on several times since then, the most recent of those times being on the 20th. Needless to say I'm beginning to get nervous. I most recently pmed her on the 22nd and with still no word back and no doll in the mail I really am getting antsy.
I would like to add that Sixfried was always very sweet during negotiations and I harbor no ill will towards her. I'm really hoping this is just a case of a lot happening at once (computer problems, stacked with postal issues maybe?). Still, it has been 22 days since I completed my end of the deal and I still dont have confirmation that the doll has in fact been shipped.
Sixfried, if you're out there I'm sorry! Im not trying to give you a bad name, I just really need to know where the doll is

Seeing as it has already been 37 days since my first payment on the doll and you only have 45 to be able to file a dispute with paypal I am afraid I am going to have to open a dispute so that my chances dont expire
at this point I am not trying to get a refund but still just trying to get a hold of the seller. Still no ill will I just dont want my chances to expire.

I feel i better post my story here too.
Put a Yuu on hold with Sixfried on a long layaway.
I paid the first $50 a long while back and was grateful to her for holding him for me for so long.
I paid the final payment of $462 on the 7th April.
I sent her my address and she thanked me for the payment then saying he would be sent out to me on the 11th April, and that she would give me a tracking number.
I didnt hear from her on the 11th...or for quite a few days after that. To be honest it was over a week until i finally got a message.
She said that he had indeed been sent on the 11th, that she was sorry she hadnt been online but her computer had broken and that she didnt know when he would arrive because the Spanish post were on strike. She did however tell me that he should arrive within 5-7 days.
Now almost 2 weeks later. After me PMing her several time for a tracking number i have no responses and still no doll.
Up to the the 7th she was lovely, sweet, fast communication, etc.
But now i'm so sooo worried.
It certainly shouldnt take two weeks for the doll to arrive here from Spain. Post offices do not go on strike for 2 weeks at a time as the country would be in uproar.
I NEED to know whats going on with my doll and money. Otherwise after a certain amount of time i too shall have to start a dispute.
I'm getting so upset not knowing where my boy is

Just been told by another DOA member that after doing research she found no signs of a Spanish postal strike since last December.
This makes me worry even more..

Yes she sent that to me as well, that really bothers me >.> Not to mention the fact that she has clearly been online today and is basically just ignoring us. I sent her this thread so there's no excuse.
I have personally decided that if there is still no word from her and no doll by next friday (May 2nd) I will escalate my dispute to a claim with paypal to get my money back. I really hope it will not come to that, I really would just like to have Gena here with me (I already have a name for her and everything T_T was even looking around to get her a new jacket for when she gets here). Sixfried, if you read this please please please just contact me and let me know you are still there.

when it comes to that date i'll put a claim in to get my money back too.
I need the money to be honest.
Obviously i'd rather have River/Raven here with me! Yeah..i had a name and charrie too T_T
He even had relationships with dolls i already have and i have got some clothes for him already.
I sent her another pm today and will keep hoping..but at the same time i better not get my hopes up..>>

I have recieved some helpful information from someone who is a member of both DoA and two Spanish doll forums.
First of all she informed me that there are no strikes in the Spanish Post Office currently that she has heard of. She has also informed me that Sixfried is active in the other forums and has been posting today.
I asked her about Sixfrieds market activities in the spanish forums and here is what she told me:
"She's sold a couple of things and has one good feedback in one of the forums. She has on sale on both forums the same dolls she has here. I guess that's to have more chances to find a buyer... but I have checked and the Gena, for example, doesn't appear as "on hold"
In one of the forums she has organized a group order from Luts. Right now she has received payment from all members, placed the order, and is writing daily the status and the notices she gets from Luts."
This information I feel has been very helpful and I want to publicly thank her, though she has requested I not use her name.
So I think its safe to say she is purposely ignoring our pm's? Part of me wanted to say perhaps someone else has been checking her account if she is having internet problems (I had my boyfriend check my account for me while my internet was down, so I thought it might be a possibility she had done the same thing and wasnt just "ignoring") but if she is posting on other boards she is obviously still getting online just fine and theres no reason she cant contact us ><;;

I feel real bad now...this doesnt look good at all..

Think i'll wait until tonight/tomorrow and request a refund.
I was so looking forwards to getting that doll.
I've been saving for him for over a month.
And she's done a group order..?...omg...i dread to think of all those people if its not genuine

Yeah, in light of new evidence that she is in fact just ignoring everyone I dont see any reason to wait a whole week to request a refund. I am going to request mine right now. If the doll comes I will pay her back, but at this point I get the feeling she never intended to send her in the first place. And even if she did, this lack of communication is really just... I dont even know what to call it. If she has actually shipped the dolls then this lack of communication would be perplexing O.o
I want to keep this thread going though. I am hoping that if a few more people decide to come forward (I know there are at least two others who havent wanted their names disclosed at this point, but might join this thread, as well as the people from that group order) we might file an internet fraud claim collectively.

I just opened up my paypal dispute and will more than likely request my refund tomorrow.
*sigh*
Sure hope i can get that money back.
And yeah..need to keep the thread going.

And as you said..if she HAS sent the dolls...this is oh sooo odd.

Oh lord, what a mess >< I've just contacted paypal and been informed that if she has insufficient funds in her account I wont get the money back from her because buyers not using ebay arent protected. This is news to me, I would have thought that paypal offered at least some protection to their customers on other sites! They said that her account would be frozen right now and that they wouldnt be able to take the funds out once I filed the claim but... I'm starting to feel nautious. I dont have $500 to spare ><;;

Would it be possible for the mods to get me any information they have about her? All I really know is her screen name and she is from Spain >.> I am planning on filing an internet fraud report and any information I dont already have would really help T_T
Her real name, address info, email, phone number, and IP address would be really really helpful if it would be possible to get it. I know its shaky giving someone this info, but to have any hope of catching her it would be very helpful.

Somehow i dont think our little ones will be arriving...they probably havent even left Spain.
She's not responding to pms. Nor is she responding to me on paypal even though i have escalated to a claim.

Seems like the longer this goes the more I hear about people having problems with her >< I have her full name and email, any other info that anyone can find would be very helpful.
I want to publicly say that I have had many pm's from members of the spanish forums that I appreciate sooo much. It's kind of scary to feel like I may have to file some kind of lawsuit against someone I've never met from another country >< So it's really great to have people from those forums (especially those living in Spain) to talk to about this.
I really cant believe this. I've done so many transactions through DoA with so many nice people. This is the sort of thing you always think will happen to "someone else" *sigh*
I'm wondering if we can get a tally of how much money she has really ripped people off of? Also, if anyone knows who purchased her male Lishe she had up prolly be good to get in touch with them.
I know I ended up spending $555 total.

Okay, here is new information I've got. I actually laughed out loud when I heard this. Like, I am so much in disbelief I started laughing. Ha.
From what I understand she has not been reading this thread because it scares her or some such thing. Also, apparently she actually intends on sending our dolls but she spent the money she was supposed to ship them with. Absolutely insane, I cant believe it.
I may be able to get her phone # from a helpful member of the Spanish forum who knows her in person. If and when I do I will try to drop her a call and see what she says. I am not interested in harassing or attacking her, I really just want to know what's going on. If she really is just in over her head maybe I can get in touch with her and calm her down. *sigh*
I will update again if I get in touch with her.
