Latidoll White dolls Discussion part 1

Mimisstuff she is lovely. I love her hair and just look at her little shoes. Everything about this size is just cute cute cute.

What is it about these dolls. My little tanned Belle arrived last week and she captured my heart. I've named her Angel.

here is my lovely laches, I bought her/him from someone on flickr.
he is beautifull tanned skin and is my tiniest tiny. I thought his head would be to big, but I don't think so, he is a baby and they have bigger heads. I like lati sp body's too, but with this character even that body is too big he is going to be spoiled, because I orderd some lovely re-ment baby things, I can finaly buy baby things, all my other tiny's are mature or children, even teenager and fairy's but I didn't have a baby yet.

I was looking at pictures on Flickr last night and came accross someone with a pury head and they put it on an Elfdoll Tiny body, and OMG, I fell in love! Who was that? I didn't save any info! But I thought it looked amazing.

You see, I love Lati's faces, especially their faceups! But I don't tend to go for little kid dolls (broke that rule with Felixdoll Brownies and PUki's, LOL) and when I saw that combo, it blew me away!

Anyone know who did that? I've got to find an elfdoll body for my Min now, but gosh, if I could get a body for a Lati, I'd be totally freaking stoked! (er, um, happy that is ;P)

Does anyone know when the Latis will be re-stocked? I really want a Belle after looking at all the pictures here. I tried emailing the Latidoll website, but no reply. And another thing, after I tried joining the Latidoll website as a member, my information was not stored. The page just got stuck. From what I can tell, you need to first join and sign in before being able to order anything from Lati. Does anyone know anything about this?

Yep, that was me. The head didn't really fit on that well, the hole wasn't quite big enough for the ring to fit through, but I'm sure it could be modified quite easily. For me it was just an experiment so I just took the photo for fun and then put everyone back to normal. :P

Oh, one more note: the skin tone match was very, very close. Pury is white skin tone, Min's was pale enough to pull off an decent match.

Someone was saying late August or September for when Lati will take orders again? But...don't take my word for it, that's just the word going around. Lati will announce it in advance in their announcements.

Yes, you do need to create an account to buy stuff. I did it in advance of ordering last time to make sure everything was working okay so I wouldn't have any trouble ordering.

Yes, that's her! I wrote to Dollmore to see if they'd sell a Banji body (I think I'd have more luck there than with Elfdoll!) and if so, I may very well do that! Although I have no business getting more dolls! Yikes!

Yes, Belle is a cutie. I also have a Jaimedoll Ara on the way, and all 3 of the Supia babies. I've always admired BJD's, but just recently decided to go ahead and buy some. There are SO many beautiful dolls and varieties to choose from, but I especially love the sweet babies and children dolls (love the D.I.M. Sweet) This is already turning into a very expensive hobby, I have to pace myself with my purchases.

Is there a difference in the basic white boy and girl bodies? Anyone have comparison pics? I want an arin girl next

Yes, they have gender parts. Arin is normally a boy, so you'll need to request a girl body, or make a date with Mr. Sandpaper. They did put a girl body on mine when I requested it, so I imagine they'd do it for you. Arin and Kong are boys, Lily and Belle are girls, and Laches and Pury are non-sexed.
