dambuster01 - You're very welcome! I hope you can bring your dream doll (whoever you decide on) home soon!

NabeeRain - I don't have any comparison pictures on the B-01 and B-02 bodies. But there is this thread about it. http://www.denofangels.com/forums/sh...t=volks+bodies I hope it helps!

Thank you Rikka_Mika! Search was not very kind to me and I wasn't able to pull the thread ^_^

I have both the small and medium bust bodies. There's very slight difference between the medium and small bust but I do prefer the medium bust if possible because it does add a bit up top that makes a cute difference for stretchy tops.

As for legs I'm finding I prefer the non swaricco and if you do decide on swarrico I'd spend the extra for self standing parts. I found that I get less issues of leg buckle on my swaricco with sueding than swaricco without sueding.

To add onto what AfreeElf said about Suwarriko MSD bodies; I'd also buy some SD-sized restringing elastic from Volks and restring the doll upon arrival. I found using the SD-sized string rather than the MSD-sized made it a lot more stable.

Goodness, it took me a while to find this thread. And I must admit, I have been so busy with other dolls that I have not had a chance to keep up. Also, I have been patiently waiting for my Ella Jane's return from her second face up. I finally have the F20 doll I wanted for a year! I cannot believe she arrived a year ago. And while I did love her, she did not have the face I was looking for. I posted a while back, the first face up Cristy gave her. She came out a bit too old looking. I wanted Ella Jane as a 5 year old and now I think Cristy captured the little girl of my dreams!

I had to go back to look at the original faceup on Ella Jane to compare. You are so right, she looks so much younger with this faceup even though the style of the faceup is similar. I love how she did her lips both times but she really softened up the eyebrows and eyeliner the second time which gives her a much younger look. I do think you now have your 5 year old. Congrats, Dollswest. She's just adorable.

I believe she does ^_^ Check out this thread, it is pretty neat. It is for Volks dolls with teeth, it is pretty neat and one of the main reasons I want a F20 is for her sweet little teeth. http://www.denofangels.com/forums/sh...h-Molded-Teeth

I posted some pictures of my F-18 girl yesterday and I meant to link to it from here, but I forgot. So I'll do it now for reference if anyone is looking for pictures of the sculpt. I know I looked all through this thread when I was considering getting mine.

    Here's a teaser picture:

And the link to the thread:

~Edit~ unoa-im-afreak - I don't know the exact prices from Volks for the extra wigs/hands/feet/ears through FCS, but all the proxies on DoA charge different prices. And extra eyes aren't an option, sadly. The link to the F20 thread is here, if this is the one I think you mean:
    http://www.denofangels.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=205677

    pithetaphish charges:
    MSD Wig - 3,590 yen
    MSD Hands - 2,720 yen
    MSD Feet - 2,720 yen
    MSD Ears - 3,265 yen

    neverything
    & PurgatoriX charge:
4,000 yen for any of the extra parts

    ria_ria charges:
    Wig : 4,200 yen
    Hands : 4,500 yen
    Feet : 4,500 yen
    Elf ears : 3,700 yen

They are the only people I know of who offer Sato services and I believe F-20 is a Sato-only mold. Please correct me if I'm wrong; I haven't checked in a long while. I hope this helps!

Thank you muchly. It really does stink about not being able to order extra eyes though. my sister's friend is going to Kyoto this summer, which would be perfect but without a job I could never possibly get the money by then.

F20 is still a sato only mold. It does have teeth but I think last time I checked Volks only offers teeth painting for the SD molds not MSD as part of FCS faceup.

My Volks MSD Toppi weighs a little over 2 and a half pounds with no wig, clothes or shoes.

Does anyone know if MSDs and SDCs can share hands? I really want the SDC holding hands for my minis but I'm not sure if they would fit right.

    Hi Kaighn,

Basically Sdc hands can fit on Msd bodies. But not perfect. The Sdc boy hands are slightly bigger.
Sdc girl are slightly smaller than MSd. There is a boy side and girl side to the Sdc joined hands.
People tell me that they use long sleeves to hide the difference between the wrist ball and hand.

    ...

Here are some hand comparison photos.

People want to know if Sdc hands fit on Msd. These photos to show difference between Msd and Sdc girl/boy.

And how Sdc hands fit on Msd and Sdc.

Compare for size Msd, Sdc girl, Sdc joined hands girl side.

Compare for size Msd, Sdc boy Kurt, Sdc joined hands boy side.

Sdc Peace hands on Volks Msd body
