On-Topic Anthro/Animal Inspired Dolls and Criteria (updated 8/18/10)

Only the Anthro/Animal-inspired BJD that have been approved by the moderators may be discussed within their subforum , pictured on their own in the Galleries, and sold on Den of Angels. Off-topic dolls can, as always, be pictured or discussed in the context of other on-topic dolls.

On-topic Anthro dolls can be posted in the Galleries, but discussion of Anthros belong in this subforum rather than in a specific "sized" discussion area.



Anthropomorphic dolls posted to this section must meet all specified criteria.

1. Asian/anime style
2. Must follow other DoA criteria (i.e, resin, strung, removable eyes, articulated, able to be painted) but do not need to wear wigs
3. Cannot be "100% animal". Must have some type of "human" quality (examples: biped, human-like jointing and joint movement)
4. Artists' dolls need not apply unless they are being produced in resin and sold; otherwise those go to the Artists' subforum.
5. Dolls with optional anthropomorphic parts (like PukiPuki faceplates,Volks MSD cat ears, and Domadoll centaurs) are not considered anthros/animals. They are on-topic for DoA and should be posted in their appropriate size subforum not anthros/animals .

These criteria are posted as a guideline; as always, final decision is at the moderators' discretion. If there is a new doll you feel that the moderators should evaluate and consider for inclusion, please PM an active moderator. However, once decided, the on- or off-topic status of a doll is not up for debate.
