Besides Volks, other easy options are from SQ Labs, Obitsu, and Parabox. There are some OT silicone bodies as well.
I'm not sure which other resin bodies match the neck for DD, but they are really easy to hybrid. You'd have to blush the head since I'm not aware of any resin matches beside SQ lab.
Gosh thanks Jade! I was aware of Obitsu and Parabox but wasn't sure if the bodies would fit my DD head. Actually I haven't gotten the head yet. It's in the mail, so to speak. But I know where I can get an Obitsu body and if it can work with the DD head then I will proceed to get one! Is Obitsu and Parabox on topic or off? Good to know that the Volks DD heads are compatible with the Obitsu and Parabox bodies as I can't find the MDD body anywhere.

I think 50cm and 60cm obitsu are grandfathered in, but I'm not sure how OT the other vinyl options are. There's at least one forum dedicated to obitsu so I'm sure they'll have some more info on hybrids.
Volks is suffering shortages on all DD bodies right now... New and upgraded MDD parts should get released later this year, hopefully!
I got the H01 head. She is so very cute!! Does anyone else have her? Would like to see photos. Now I am working on getting that Obitsu/Parabox body. I want to get the 47cm size. That would still work right?

Yay I finally got my MDD all put together (Well.. until I find more wigs... lol)
Though I'm noticing one her joints getting looser and looser... and wondering how you tighten MDD bodies? I got her used from Mandarake, and she maybe had one foot sorta loose, but now I can't get her to stand on her own (which might be because of the wig & that big old head of hers lol). I'm too afraid to pull things to see whats really in there... I mean I've pulled her hands out to change them and when I put on clothes but usually I'm pushing limbs in rather than tugging. Any suggestions???

Parabox has a number of smaller bodies, ranging from 48cm down to 40cm. All of these Parabox bodies/parts are manufactured by Obitsu.
She's a real cutie! Congrats on getting her together, finally. Sorry though I can't help you with the loose joints.

I am so so very excited!! I got my DD head in the mail today. Now working on connecting to a body. Waiting for special eyes for her but for now I put in 18mm glass eyes. Put a cute little girl wig on her. Will take photos of her tomorrow and share!!

Does anyone know what resin or vinyl matches DD White skin? I realized after I bought a DDH-01 head that Volks doesn't sell white skin MDD!

It was a lot of work to get his face right, but I'm so pleased by the blushing. His entire face was blushed before it was painted and looks almost like porcelain in sunlight. It wasn't intentionally a DD and BJD style cross, it just happens to be what I could do.I love him so much and he's just perfect!
Yukamina: I really wish I could help you but all I know is that Volks had a limited MDD WS at some point but it is not easy to get a hold of at all. I hope Volks corrects this eventually when the V. 3 of the bodies are released. Also Obitsu White Skin is not a match since it is almost identical to Volk's normal skin.

Is it possible to buy clothes that fit MDD dolls not from Volks? If so, what size are they considered to be? I apologize if this is a very silly question, but I'm very new to BJD's....
I think a general rule is clothes that fit Mini Super Dollfie also fit MDD since they should be 1/4 scale (DD are 1/3 scale, just for reference).
For example, this pink coat on Alice's Collections is available in 1/3 SD size, 1/4 MSD size, and 70cm (sized resin dolls). Often you have to look around a bit for what MSD/MDD sized clothing is offered in different stores, but it's not to hard to find once you understand the size comparisons. If you find ones that you like, don't forget to bookmark it so you know where to find it later. If I didn't do this i'd never remember my way around the mass of BJD/DD/MDD stores.
Don't feel bad about no knowing though, it confused me for quite some time.
Anyone who has more experience in this, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I've sewn most of Tamayuki's clothes, but his one Volks shirt I have was a MSD size.
