1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. I'm going to start off by saying that I tried really hard to make this transaction work.

I am also going to heavily advise any potential buyers to not buy from this seller.

I purchased a used Doll Chateau Bella in WS about a month ago. The post listed that the doll was in perfect condition and would come with extras. I was very excited to receive her. When she came I ecstatic. The real surprise came when I opened her to find that not only was the box damaged (not a big deal, the doll was used so I had expected this) but the doll itself was in very poor condition. Not only that, but the promised second wig was not sent at all and the wig that did come was literally falling apart. The doll was also not in white skin, and had yellowed a considerable amount. (When I brought this up a second time the seller denied it) I felt a wide variety of emotions, however I was mostly angry. I immediately asked for a partial refund for half of what I paid. The seller responded and told me that that was a bit unreasonable, and that she would send a care package instead. She also told me that she was not aware that she had listed two wigs on the sales post. The post was very clear in that it stated that there would be two wigs. At that point I had calmed down and realized I had over reacted, and accepted the care package. The reason I accepted it was because the seller reassured me very calmly that she had no intention of selling me a damaged and filthy doll and that she would make it right. Knowing I had a care package on the way, I began to fix the doll. Many baths and restringing attempts failed, so as I type this I am waiting on new elastic. After 3 and a half weeks of my trying to fix the doll, I realized that the care package has not arrived. I sent the seller a quick message asking for an update, as I had figured that due to the large distance between us the package was taking a long time. The seller then told me that she had not sent the package at all due to business and that she would send it the next day. At that point I was feeling very disappointed. When I was told that she would send a package, I was told that it would be shipped soon. Instead of waiting for the package, I again asked for a partial refund, this time asking 50 usd. The seller, however, refused to send this and sent me 50 aud, claiming it was because their dollar was bad. If I pay in usd, I want usd back. When I told her that I would like the remaining money, she told me that she was a uni student and could not afford this. What she didn't recognize is that I am a 16 year old high school student who worked my butt off to get this doll, only to find her to be slimy, stained, and floppy. At the end of the day I accepted the 38 usd, as I couldn't bring myself to continue to ask, as this transaction has already taken a huge tole on me. On top of this, the seller had stated in the message that she knew I was going to leave negative feedback, so here I am.
