Advertising on Den of Angels

Den of Angels is the largest international forum for Super Dollfie and Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls. In addition to being a community for discussion and sharing photos, we are also the first source for news and the hub of the BJD second-hand market.

Den of Angels is an active community of over 15,000 doll owners and enthusiasts; we also add between 30-60 new members daily. We have over 250 new threads and over 5,000 new posts daily across 50 active subforums. During the week, we receive approximately 18,000 visitors and 300,000 pageviews daily.

Ads are placed in the upper right corner of every page of the Den of Angels forum. Ads are 468x60pixels and non-animated. Ads may not contain images that are not "work safe."

Standard Advertisers may have up to 4 different ad banners running simultaneously under one "campaign"; each banner can link to a different URL and both the image and link can be changed at any time. Short-term Member Advertisers may only one run one banner linked to one URL at a time, but can change that banner weekly.

We only allow targeted advertising, so all ads must be for doll-related shops, services, and events. We do not accept ads for other forums and reserve the right to decline advertising that we feel is inappropriate for our forum.

Forum members may also purchase advertising to link to their on-site shop threads or doll sale threads.

As of 3/1/09, we have lowered our banner rates!

DoA ads are sold based on the number of ad views per day. Each view is called an "impression." Fees are charged based on "CPM." CPM is the cost for each thousand ad views. We offer two pricing rates for advertisements.

Because Den of Angels receives over 300,000 views per day, we recommend a minimum of 10,000 views per day.

Ads may be purchased up to 6 months in advance. Paying a full 6 months in advance gives you 5% off the total price.

Ad payments must be made in advance and are non-refundable.

When you purchase ad space, the first thing that you will probably want to do is log in to the forum and keep refreshing the page until you see your ad. You may feel like your ad is not showing up very much if you yourself are not seeing it very often!

This is because our ad software is very smart and will optimize your exposure! What that means is that your impressions will be evenly distributed over the course of the full day to many different users, rather than being used up at the beginning of the day, or by just a few people who are very active.
