    -------------------------------------------------------------

    Basic Steps

Step 1 : Getting the supplies. (shopping list.)

Eye bases: For bases I use Flat acrylic eyes, you can order them from here:
    Antina's Doll Supply
These are the eyes that 'll be using this tutorial.

My SD boy Sephion will be helping me in this tutorial.

    Item List:

    1) Eye bases.
    2) Clear Nail polish (and or) Paint remover that you can find. I find that Nail polish works, it's become my best friend when cleaning the lenses.

    3) Small sharp point nail

    4) Package of Pins for dismantling. (be sure that they are strong enough and have a very sharp point.)

    5) Sharp scissors

    6) Very fine tipped brushes. 01, 00 or smaller for fine detail work.

    7) Paints,

8 ) Eye Irises Print outs

    9) Scrap bit of card board with tape on it. (Sticky side up) so that your eye-bit is held steady.

    10) Clear tape

    11) Exacto knife

    12) Hammer, (not shown)

    - Sandpaper (fine grain, for smoothing plastic.)
    Step 2: Dismantling the eyes(cleaning.)

    -------------------------------------------

Put the your small nail on the whites of the eyes right next to the clear irises, litghtly Hammer it in. Please be careful that it doesn't go all the way through, Just enough so that the tip goes past the width of the iris.

    Sephy: But we don't have a hammer, Ely-mama ;_;
Ely: I know, just pretend oK?
    --------------------------------

One you've removed the nail, Push a sharp pin in the hole you've made, try to get the pin under the iris. it may take some work, again be careful not to scratch the Iris.

    --------------------------------

Once you got the the pin under, pry it up, the iris should pop out.

Sephy: Whew! that was hard work.
    ------------------------------

    Cleaninging

This is how it looks on the back of the iris:

Use clear Nail polish, Wipes some on and wipe it off the paint on the back should come off.
It may take several wipes of the nail polish and tissue before you get a clean lense.
